Maison charmante à Saint Malo à proximité de la plage, idéale pour les familles

Perfect location for a beach holiday. Beach was less than five minutes’ walk and offered us lovely big waves for body boarding. The Carrefour was two minutes away which was very useful. Fridge and freezer were large. Gas BBQ was an excellent touch. The shower-room off the garage was perfect for post-beach cleaning up. It might have been nice to have enough comfy chairs for everyone in our party (7 people) - perhaps a big squishy sofa? We really appreciated all the information beforehand and the hosts were very communicative. We have already booked again for next year’s seaside holiday!

Great location near the beach and grocery store. 3,5 km to the old town St Malo which was easy to reach by local bus. Bars and restaurants a bit far to go in the evening. For us it was perfect.

Nice residential area away from the hubbub in St Malo.

We loved our stay in this bright and roomy house. It provided plenty of space for our family of 9. Close to the most beautiful beach I have ever been to. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped for home cooking. Thank you.

The house is situated in a lovely quiet neighbourhood at one end of St. Malo, and is easy to find off the dual carriageway that runs south of the town. After quite a drive it was nice to arrive to such a spacious and clean house! The local supermarket & boulangerie around the corner were well stocked and we used them a lot, only needing to go to the local hypermarket a few times during our stay. We felt at home very quickly, and found the house was comfortable and well equipped with all we needed. Having WIFI access was great! It is ideally situated to easily pop into St Malo old town, the local beach, and to the Grand Aquarium. (We would recommend the walk around the walls of the old town - the views are great and on a clear day you can see Le Phare on top of Le Cap Frehel in a westerly direction!) Also within an hour you can reach Mont St Michel, Alligator Bay, Dinan, Dinard, Le Cap Frehel & Forte La Latte. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and visited all of the above and more. It is a house where you could just hide away or use as a base to explore this part of Brittany. We highly recommend as a great place for families to stay.

"We have just had the best French holiday ever"-to quote my family. We stayed in this beautiful house in St Malo, which provided everything you could want. The house is well-situated on a quiet cul-de-sac, just 5 mins walk from a lovely beach with rock pools etc. Nearby is a good local supermarket and Boulangerie, and a lovely park with kiddies' playground is just at the bottom of the road. The house was spotlessly clean when we arrived, and has a lovely garden with a small terrace and outdoor seating. The gas barbecue was also a boon! The accommodation is in very good condition-it is obviously well-loved and cared for by the owner.The help from the owner prior to our visit was excellent. All my e-mails and queries were answered promptly and they supplied a very useful guide to the area. I would thoroughly recommend this house to anyone without reservation-it is ideal for families. We had our 2 grandsons (aged 5 and 2) with us and they were able to play in total safety in the large garden. A 5 star holiday in a beautiful house!! James Crowe August 2012
