Maison D’Architecte dans un des « Plus beaux Villages de France «

Excellent location for exploring Alsace. I did not realise how beautiful the village would be. Lots of places to eat and a bar next to the Marie open until 7pm for a cold beer or wine. The house is terrific. All mode cons you need and a car park close by monitored by security cameras. The area was very quite and peaceful and we would definately pick this property again when we visit the Alsace again

This recently renovated loft was perfect for 3 nights in Alsace! Right in the edge of the quaint village, it was so roomy, airy and quiet. Locatiion was perfect for getting to Christmas markets, wineries and top-notch restaurants! Loved our stay and hope to return for warmer weather!

Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche in einem tollen Ferienhaus verbracht und können es nur jedem ans Herz legen, das schöne Örtchen Bergheim und Umgebung zu besuchen, mit dem Fahrrad zu erkunden und in diesem Traum von Ferienhaus zu übernachten. Lieben Dank an die Vermieter.

The house is beautiful and everything we imagined. The small town and the surrounding area are charming and picturesque. Everything was exactly as listed (except for the cost of the jacuzzi, but we were notified in advance and could have had our choice). Our host was generous with amenities and information. And even though we barely speak French, a little help from Google Translate was all we needed.

Wir haben diese wunderschöne Unterkunft gefunden, und haben wunderbare Tage in Bergheim verbracht. Das Haus ist noch schöner als der Eindruck der Bilder vermitteln kann. Wir haben vom Bett aus die Sonne über dem Schwarzwald aufgehen sehen. Es ist hell und gemütlich und alles in einem perfekten, sehr gepflegtem Zustand. Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen und man ist in wenigen Schritten im Ortskern mit seinen hübschen und liebevoll gepflegten Häusern. Die Unterkunft ist perfekt ausgestattet und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Herr Haller ist ein ausgesprochen freundlicher und zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Wir hatten unsere Fahrräder dabei und haben von Bergheim aus Touren in die schönen Elsässer Dörfer, die Vogesen zum Kaiserstuhl, den Burgen, Colmar und Staßburg unternommen. Die Lage des Hauses ist besonders zentral. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefüllt und wollen gerne wiederkommen.

My husband and I had a fantastic week in Christiane & Jean-François' georgeous house. It has everything you need for a perfect and luxurious holiday - is new and have all modern features which is so comfortable when you just want to have a peaceful and easy holiday, and we found ourselves in a totally relaxed state almost immidiately after arrival. The well equipped kitchen, the comfy beds and the jacuzzi had a great part in it, too - and the view from the master bedroom and the living room over the gardens of the neighboring houses with the mountains of The Black Forrest in the horizon was just breathtaking... Bergheim is very charming with beautiful houses and is enclosed by remparts almost all around the old part of the village. It is not as touristy as some of the other nearby villages but the tranquil and cozy atmosphere was very becoming for us and we highly enjoyed our evening walks around the town and on the remparts as the sun was setting. Bergheim is also a perfect place for visiting all the other great features Alsace has to offer and we took trips along the rute de vins and up the mountains to several chateaux and points de vues. Christiane and Jean-François are lovely hosts and we will not hesitate to come back to La Grange D’Auguste again❤️ Steen & Mette Nørgaard

The house is beautiful, clean, sunny, well equipped, air-conditioned (4 units, 2 downstairs and one in each bedroom) and ideally located at the edge of Bergheim. The beds, the pillows, the sheets, the showers, everything is of high quality. (The only downside is that the living-room is in the sun till noon. We had to wear our sunglasses inside in the morning) We first looked at houses in Colmar. We spent a day there. It’s a beautiful town, not to miss but it’s packed with tourists, loud and heavy traffic. We were so grateful to come back home to our quiet neighborhood in Bergheim and park right in front of the house. We loved to relax on the terrace and enjoy the jacuzzi. It was such a pleasure to walk around the village of Bergheim, it’s remparts and it’s vineyards (right behind the house) The little bakery was closed for part of our stay but there is a little convenient store a few minutes walk that also sells fresh bread everyday. Bergheim is ideally located to visit all the little Alsaciens villages. Ribeauvillé is 6 minutes away, (13 minutes on bicycle) Riquewihr, 12 min, Colmar, 20min, Eguisheim and the Haut Koneigsbourg Castle, 25m. You can easily come home and take a nap in between visits. Don’t hesitate. You won’t regret choosing this place.

The modern design and new construction of this home created a zen, relaxed atmosphere. Everything was very clean and fresh. The kitchen was fully appointed for cooking. Located on the edge of town, it is quiet, yet within quick walking distance of the center of town. We loved sitting on the back porch in the mornings and evenings, watching the gardeners next door tend their gardens. We also loved sitting in the hot tub in the evenings. The owners are very kind and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed, answering our questions about restaurants and places to visit, etc. We loved the location of Bergheim for our visit to the Alsace region. It is a lovely town within short driving distance of many of the places we wanted to see. We would definitely return. This lovely VRBO was the perfect end to our vacation.
