Fantastic property, with everything you could need in the house. Very tastefully decorated and beautiful inside. Very comfortable bed with luxury bedding. Great shower, which is a big plus. Nicely situated in the town with good parking. Simon was very friendly and not at all intrusive, but a very pleasant guy to chat to. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

We recently returned from a wonderful stay at this very charming, beautiful property. It is situated in the most picture perfect village with wonderful restaurants and shops just a short walk away. The hosts and locals are extremely friendly and welcoming. The property is cosy and warm if you’re planning to visiting in Winter - It really does make for a perfect stay. We hope to visit again soon!

We really enjoyed our stay with Simon! The gite was a good size for a group of four that enjoys a cozy space. We especially enjoyed the connected kitchen and living room, since we could fire up the stove, cook, and enjoy all the local wine together! One thing to be aware of is the connected bedrooms. This was fine for us, but may not be 100% clear in the posting (I think the French description makes sense, but the English translation wasn't as clear). The location is wonderful. Bergheim is really well located and cute, with a wonderful Christmas market, and it is far less overrun by tourists compared to nearby Ribeauville or similar. There are many great wineries to try nearby - special mention to Marcel Deiss in town, or Rolly Gassmann just to the north of town.

Very nice property with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Very clean and comfortable. We self catered mainly and the gas bbq was a real bonus. Just be aware that although there are two bedrooms there is a gap with a curtain between the rooms. There are some nice restaurants in the town along with some lovely bakeries. Bergheim is a great place to stay for a trip to this area as it’s not too touristy but really pretty and lots of history. Everything is within an easy drive too. Simon the owner was always helpful.

Excellent location in the center of Bergheim. Friendly and easy to contact owner. Cosy interior. Very well equiped with lots of amenities. Nice garden, which is also suitable for children. Highly recommended. We would like to visit again some day.

We loved this cottage, so lovely! We would recommend!

A gite full of character which was exceptionally clean with great kitchen and bathroom facilities. We were welcomed by our host who gave us a guided tour and explained the history of the gite which he had renovated to a high standard. We didn’t want to leave.

Has all that one needs and more. Simon was most helpful in recommending interesting places to visit and restaurants at which to eat. Highly recommended.
