Delightful stay in a charming...<br>#128578; The property is an historic building, and is very beautiful with lots of antique pine and other period features. It is situated over three floors which gave us plenty of space. Very tastefully simply decorated, fully equipped kitchen with cooker, fridge washing machine, it is very comfortable and provides everything you could need for a short trip. Perfect location, literally around the corner from the tapestry and the historic town centre of Bayeux. Nice old authentic BB in...<br>#128578; The location of this BB i Bayeux is quite excellent, nice and quiet while in the center of the town, , only a small walk from the famous Bayeux tapestry museum and lots of restaurants. The house is large and old with an intense charme. You need to know this before booting the BB, not all will appreciate the old stairs and the rustic style, but we just loved it :) A small garden is available to enjoy the breakfast when the weather allows.<br>#128577; Nothing, we emjoyed the stay.

I would definitely stay again...<br>#128578; The setting was idyllic. The privacy the courtyard provided from the street was terrific. The use of the garage for our car was an added bonus. The assistance offered from the host(s) was just right, everyone was very polite and helpful. The breakfast was exactly what I think of when imagining the quintessential French breakfast. The location was perfect for touring Normandy and the surrounding areas.<br>#128577; A place to hang clothes in the bedroom would be nice. To be fair there may have been a closet but I did not find one nor did I ask. A coat rack in the bedroom or a hook or two on the wall would do the trick.

A unique property right in...<br>#128578; A fantastic location, 4 minutes walk from the cathedral, 2 minutes from the Bayeux Tapestry museum. Free Parking on the street wasn’t a problem for us; we did have the option of the narrow garage, but didn’t need it. Jean-Marie was an excellent host, providing a superb continental breakfast with bread, croissants and pain au chocolat fresh from the bakery each morning.
