Maison d'Hôtes de l'Etang

Voortreffelijk<br>#128578; we waren te gast bij fijne mensen die graag en goed ontvangen. Ze houden de idealen van de chambre en tables d'hotes hoog in het vaandel. We spendeerden aangename avonden aan tafel.

Wonderful stay in a country...<br>#128578; This lovely family property is run by a wonderful married couple who celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary a week after we left. So, yes, they're not young! But don't let that put you off booking here. We had the ground floor room (recommended), and dinner was served/cooked by the couple at their dining table, they join you for dinner. Neither of them speak English. Fortunately, we have a little French and a French couple, also staying, could speak some English, so between ...<br>#128577; That's a good question and because they did such a wonderful job looking after us it would be churlish to pick fault. Nearer to the motorway would be handy but no big deal, but that's about it.

This was a fabulous first...<br>#128578; The hosts were fantastic. Full of French character. The room was spotlessly clean. Very French. Perfect for us. No English spoken so had to use French which I loved. Breakfast was lovely. Fresh local produce. Nothing too much trouble. Very attentive hosts. Would definitely return. Loved it there.<br>#128577; We loved everything. If you want to dive into the french way of life stay here. If you like faceless modern places stay away.
