Maison de pêcheur avec vue sur baie de Paimpol

We spent a marvelous time in the lovely house of Jean-Joseph. The outlook over the sea, the fresh oisters and mussels, fresh from the sea, were gorgeous. It was like paradise there!

Un accueil chaleureux de la part du propriétaire. La maison est très propre et tres bien équipée. La situation géographique est parfaite quand on recherche le calme. Toute petite pente raide à pied pour monter à la maison (20 mètres environ) attention donc si vous avez des difficultés pour marcher. Nous recommandons cette maison que nous avons trouvé superbe. Ein wunderschöner und ruhiger Ort mit traumhaftem Meerblick. Das Haus ist bestens ausgestattet und lässt nichts vermissen. Checkin ohne Probleme. Zum Empfang gibt es Cidre Kekse und Salzkaramel. 2 min. zum Hafen und 5 min. zum Strand. Allerdings darf man hier keinen feinen Sandstrand erwarten. Ist sehr steinig und auch sehr algig. Also weniger für ausgiebige Strand- und Badeerlebnisse geeugnet. Dafür bietet der Küstenabschnitt ein sehr abwechslungsreiches Panorama und für Muschelsammler viel Sammelmaterial. Der Zöllnerpfad verläuft quasi direkt am Haus vorbei. Für Einkäufe, Restaursnts und Cafés ist man auf ein Auto angewiesen. Am Hafen gibt es hingegen ein vorzügliches und sehr sympathisches Muschelrestaurant (2 min. zu Fuß). Wir können das Haus und das Örtchen vollumfänglich empfehlen.

Nous avons passé nos vacances avec notre fille de presque 3 ans. Le logement est encore plus agréable en vrai qu'en photo. Tout est très propre, bien pensé et rien ne manque. La situation est aussi idéale, avec une vue magnifique. Le propriétaire est très attentionné. Merci pour l'accueil et les produits locaux à notre arrivée. Et bravo pour la qualité du logement .

We loved staying in this house close to the sea, with lovely views over the bay of St Brieuc. There were views from all rooms, but best of all from the two bedrooms. The house was well equipped with everything we needed for our one week stay in September for 2 people. Things like teatowels, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and coffee filters were already in the cupboards. We were warmly met by the owners who clearly take pride and care of the property. The property is a short way along a cul-de-sac and you walk up steps through the nice garden to get to the front door and 2 patio areas (with tables, chairs and sun loungers, also overlooking the bay). You park the car in the free public car park by the sea, about 2 minutes walk away (but you can park nearer to unload). We loved the location which was in a fishing village with no tourist shops (though you could buy live lobsters). You have to drive a mile or two back up through the village to get to the centre of Poubazlanec village where there is a small supermarket, 2 bakers, a butcher and a few other shops. There is a nice restaurant about 5 minutes walk up the road from the house, and a couple of other places in the village, But most restaurants and the bigger supermarkets are in Paimpol about 10 mins away by car. We went in September so outside the main season and the area was very quiet. We loved this and were very happy to be slightly off the beaten track. We highly recommend this house.
