Ballade a la pointe du grouin Baignade pres de la maison de leo ferre . Visite a st malo. degustation fruits de mer principalement( huitres pinces de crabes bulots moules.....)sous le parasol dans le petit jardin du pecheur. GENIAL.

Gîte bien placé très proche du port. Il est très calme et confortable. Une bonne adresse à retenir !

Excellent location but property in need of updating and we had problems with both showers, one of which became unusable. Situation regarding linen was unclear, and when we did obtain some at extra charge, it didn’t fit the duvet provided. Directions to the property did not include how to access the restricted area where it is located, which is protected by bollards. However, lovely area with plenty of local walks and easy access to restaurants.

We had a good week here but the start was stressful, access to the street was difficult (after a long journey) because many of the streets were blocked off with bollards and the SATNAV was unable to direct us accurately. The house seems very dark at first because there is not enough light in the kitchen/salon; we did not watch television as we are from abroad and we had to bring lamps down from a bedroom to be able to read books in the evening. Otherwise, the house was well decorated and equipped and the beds are very comfortable. It is very much a traditional house, don't expect IKEA style - but we really liked that! Plenty of toys for children, which is lovely for them. We especially enjoyed sitting in the garden during the afternoon, relaxing and listening to the birds. It is literally 2 minutes from the promenade with all the restaurants and shops, including the boulangerie but the street is very quiet - and it also has a cat theme, look out for all the pretty cottages with cats as part of the decor! Cancale is delightful and there is plenty to visit in this pretty region.

Aucune mauvaise surprise en reservant cette maison. Dialogue parfait avec le propriétaire et la personne chargée de la remise des clés. Ne pas oublier de prendre le parking en sus de la maison surtout vu l'emplacement idéal de la maison. Vous ne serez pas déçu de la maison.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's a perfect spot in the quiet and very characteristic old fishermans quarters of Cancale. Five minutes, if not three, to the sea and the restaurants, bars and shops. Cancale is a lovely lively place with great food and the surroundings are gorgeous. Walking cliff paths is breathtaking. We also went to Mont-St-Michel and walked with a guide the pelgrimage route over the bottom of the sea at low tide. We got this idea from the provided trunk in the apartment with ideas. We used the book with walks in the aea too. We are a family with 3 teens and there was plenty of room to have together time and for them to zone out into their own space. We've even had coffee out in the garden, the weather was nice. Best restaurant we enjoyed was A Contre Courant, with great food and lovely staff. Make reservations! And the best place for Oysters was Atelier de Huitres. Delicious! And angain very nice staff. If you plan on hiring this lovely appartment, take the parking space, it's well worth it. We had a great time, we can recommend it to anyone. (Maybe only a problem if you can't climb stairs) We will be happy to return. The Steeg Family

Das Haus liegt in einer wunderbaren, verkehrsberuhigten Straße und reiht sich in eine Reihe restaurierter Fischerhäuser ein. Es ist idealer Ausgangspunkt um diesen wunderschönen Teil der Bretagne zu besuchen. Auch der Hafen von Cancale liegt direkt vor der Tür. Das Haus ist wirklich ideal gelegen. Der Privatparkplatz, den man buchen kann, ist goldwert. Das Haus ist recht schmal und hat daher drei Treppen. bietet aber ausreichend Platz für 6 bis 7 Personen. Ideal für Familien und Freunde, für die Treppensteigen kein Problem ist. Es ist auch ein schöner kleiner, ruhiger Garten dabei, in dem wunderschöne Hortensien im Sommer blühen. Uns hat der Ort sehr gut gefallen. Abends ist er zwar gut frequentiert, aber noch nicht überlaufen. Außerdem hat man tagsüber und gerade am Morgen die Möglichkeit, den Ort ohne touristisches Treiben zu entdecken, was uns sehr gefallen hat. Das Café du Port können wir für den morgendlichen Kaffee und auch einen Apéro empfehlen. Ansonsten gibt es zahlreiche Möglichkeiten, die alle auch Austern (neben den Marktständen) anbieten. Das L'Arriere Cour möchten wir noch hervorheben. Sehr lecker und etwas besonders. Das Plage Verger ist wunderschön zum Baden und der Point du Grouin ist auch gleich um die Ecke. Ein toller Urlaub und ein empfehlenswertes Haus!

Location location location the house is in the centre of Cancale but in a quiet street. The house has all you need for a relaxing holiday. The stairs are a little steep but are fine. It is lovely to have the garden to enjoy the sun and dining outside. Whilst the owner does not speak English we got by. There are many excellent restaurants close by. It is easy to visit main tourist sites. We hope to go back next year
