Maison nichée au coeur des vignes proche de Givry

😊: The location. And the beds were really comfortable - Emma mattresses are good, nice and firm. Decor was nice.. 😢: Don’t be fooled by the way this placed looks as there are many flaws. I think the owner of the property is being very let down by the management company and by booking.com. When we had a problem with the toilet the owner’s mum tried to help and she was lovely, but even she was disappointed with the company employed to look after this property who left us helpless.The issues were: 1) Don’t go there in a heatwave - the hall and bathroom are basically greenhouses with glass ceilings and heat up the entire house. It’s not possible to cool it down with the one fan provided. The bedroom shutters don’t close properly so letting in extra heat and also the light early in the morning. 2) The shower is mouldy and smelly. 3) The overhead shower didn’t work properly and was leaking and spraying the ceiling. We could only use the handheld shower fitting. 4) The drains constantly smelled throughout our stay - up through the sink plugs. The toilet didn’t flush or empty properly throughout our stay. 5) We saw two cockroaches - the place didn’t feel clean. 6) On our last day the toilet blocked and I contacted SH Concierge who said someone would come and fix it. We waited in all day and missed a day of our holiday. Terence stopped answering my calls and didn’t send anyone to fix the toilet. 7) Then the shower flooded up through the toilet - there was brown dirty water all over downstairs and it became impossible to stay. Terence told me I had to contact booking.com to be relocated but they were totally useless and didn’t help at all. So we were left stranded in a foreign country with nowhere to stay and had to spend more money and make international phone calls to try and move to new accommodation. This ruined our holiday..

Séjour coup de cœur dans...<br>#128578; Superbe village bourguignon. Magnifique vue sur la vallée châlonnaise. Les équipements sont exceptionnels. Tout ce qu’il faut pour une maison ( cuisinier, jouer, se reposer, poêle à bois ) Coup de cœur pour le coffre fort à vin. Je ne vous en dis pas plus mais c’est hyper original ! Et le vin de qualité !
