Maison St. Clair

😊: This is a beautiful, tastefully and comfortably restored house built in the 1257. It is situated in the bastide town of Montflanquin and is only steps away from a boulangerie, friendly bars and restuarants, and a well stocked epicerie. The weekly market on a Thursday morning in the town square sells wonderful local farm produce and artisan goods. Monflanquin is a good base to explore the other charming bastide towns and the local region. Geraint and Charlotte are great hosts and all the information we needed about the house was in the Wecome Book. We loved the thoughtful gifts left to greet us on our arrival..

😊: Excellent stay! The accommodation was clean and had everything we needed and more, the little extra touches from vanity kits to toothbrushes and bottles of water made our trip!. 😢: I honestly couldn’t say, everything within the accommodation was perfect!.

😊: What an amazing experience, staying at Maison St Claire! It felt like stepping back in time - such a beautiful house filled with history and charm. A comfortable lounge, a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a top floor bedroom with single bed and lovely rooftop terrace with stunning views. The downstairs kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. It was literally home from home. Also a toilet in the kitchen which is handy. The hosts very kindly left us milk, wine and orange juice (all the essentials) A bakery in the next road serves coffee and pastries for breakfast if you don’t want to self cater. And plenty of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The whole village is beautiful!. 😢: There is absolutely nothing to dislike! The house is stunning. The only think I would say is that the stairs are quite steep, so if you aren’t very mobile then getting up and down between the floors might be difficult. But we absolutely loved it. I didn’t want to leave!.
