MARCO POLO - studio neuf avec parking & piscines

😊: Our stay at this apartment was excellent. The location is fantastic, very convenient and close to everything we needed, making it easy to explore the area. Communication with the host was impeccable from start to finish. They were always responsive, helpful, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. The apartment itself is wonderful: very cozy, well organized, and fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. I would definitely recommend this place and would happily stay here again..

😊: I'm on a carnivore diet, and found something to eat at the butcher. I walked a lot and found good trails, including to the beach.. 😢: I'm an old farmer from Iceland, and I'd rather meet someone and get answers to my problems than struggle with some passwords and codes that took a long time to figure out..

😊: Very little to like apart from the bed which was very comfortable. 😢: The lift wasn't operational, it had been closed down following inspection on 17th September. There was no "private" swimming pool, the studio is in a horrible residential block that stinks of cigarettes and is dark and difficult to navigate. The studio bathroom floor was heavily stained and had a leaking shower with barely any water flowing to the toilet cistern, we had to flush using the mop bucket. The accomodation is described as a "one bedroom" it is in fact a studio with the bed, kitchen, tv and dining table in a very small space..

😊: The garden in front of the building and it was quiet. The balcony had a good size and it was clean.. 😢: I'm writing this review as an awareness for the property owners which should offer better services, especially cleanliness and communication to the customers! - In the first place, our biggest complain were about the instructions we got for the check-in. On the day of arrival, the owner send us via Booking a PDF with general information about the residency and not the instructions for the check-in, how to get into the apartment and parking. We had to ask several times to get the correct instructions (building, apartment, keys locker, parking spot) and we got the response after a long waiting time. In the meantime, some residents tried to help us find the right building and parking, but it was difficult without having the correct instructions. Secondly, the apartment wasn't so clean, only superficially done cleaning (it could be sanitized). The bathroom had a bad smell, most likely because of the mold in the shower area, also because the ventilation wasn't clean and sanitized. Lack of storage for clothing (you cannot lay your clothes alongside the vacuum cleaner storage shelf). The room was infested with a lot of insects. Worse part was that we were bitten a lot by the spiders or ants and we couldn't sleep for the whole 4 nights time..
