Cute cottage house in great location to visit Normandy. Philippe, our host, was very friendly and met us at the house to explain all about the house and places to go.

Cute cottage house in great location to visit Normandy. Philippe, our host, was very friendly and met us at the house to explain all about the house and places to go.

This is a house updated with new kitchen and bath amenities. It has nice/stylish furniture and decorations. New washer/clothes dryer is nice for travels on long trips. It is very clean and Anne was prompt to greet us upon arrival to Port de Bessin. If you want to visit Normandy this is a great location in Omaha Beach area and only 7 km to the Bayeux Tapestry. Port de Bessin is a nice seaside vacation town with numerous Restraunts and shops only 3 blocks away from the house, But with no noise of tourists. On site parking is provided and it is Centrally located next to the church. Church bells chime on occasion but not enough to keep you awake. Nice charm I will use this again when I return to Normandy.
