Modern farmhouse in Uzés, heated swimming pool, sauna jacuzzi and gym

The house worked for us, two people in winter. It only has one bathroom. The arrangement with the hot tub, sauna and 2nd bathroom off the driveway is very strange. We obviously did not use that nor the pool. It was hard to heat the home and there were strange noises at night in the attic. Be aware that there is no soap, shampoo, toilet paper or kitchen paper. Otherwise, everything worked. The instructions on how to leave the property are voluminous. Eventhough we pay a cleaning fee, you have to empty the dishwasher, sort out your trash and take it to the recyling, strip the beds and put everything near the washing machine, and leave everything clean.

Our stay at this beautiful house outside Uzes was most pleasant. Everything was pretty much as described with the only exception being the second bathroom. This was located in the spa which is outside the house. We were a bit worried with a family of seven and only one bath in the house, but it worked out fine. The spa and sauna were great after a day of exploring the French countryside. We were here in February and it should be great in the warmer weather with the pool and gardens. When we had any questions Alexia replied very quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

My family and I just returned from an amazing and memorable week away in Uzes. The beauty of the week is largely due to the house we stayed in. Everything in the house is just as you see pictured in the listing. Alexis is a wonderful host, and was very responsive with any questions we had. I highly recommend that you plan your next vacation in Uzes and stay at this perfect home.

Das Haus ist in gutem Zustand und dank der Ausstattung, Zimmeraufteilung und -Größe inkl. Garten konnten wir uns alle (inkl. Kinder 3.5J.,10J.,12J +Hund) erholsam vergnügen. Die Lage ist sicher, der Verkehr war für uns nicht störend, die Nachbarschaft ruhig, zudem ist die Umgebung mit nah gelegenen Ausflugszielen reizvoll. Wir können uns einen 2.Aufenthalt gut vorstellen!

We booked this lovely house for a week's holiday from June14-22. The owner and his charming daughters met us at the property and were excited to show us around. The air conditioned lounge was so welcome in the heat. The property was immaculately clean and tidy, the kitchen extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The utility room had two washing machines and two dryers which were really useful. The lounge was spacious and airy and the sofas very comfortable. Up the spiral staircase was a well equipped gym and sofa bed and extra TV. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the unusual bathroom with its great shower! At the side of the house is a lovely area consisting of an open kitchen (which we never got round to using) with a seating area, sauna and jacuzzi. Monsieur Clement explained the jacuzzi pump had broken when we arrived but it was on order and he fixed it very promptly after the weekend. We really enjoyed using the jacuzzi in the evenings. A very relaxing area which was a quiet spot to sit and read in the afternoon! The pool was heated to 30 degrees which for us was perfect and we used the pool several times a day every day! We spent our week going out exploring one day and staying in the next to take advantage of the lovely house and its beautiful gardens and pool. There is quite a busy A road the other side of the garden wall which you can't see, but after a day or two we really didn't notice it. We enjoyed sitting out on the terrace having breakfast in the mornings and lighting the bbq in the evenings and sitting out till late. We also loved the fish tank! Our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful and we would love to return one day! Thank you Alexia!

Lovely house with a stone floor and flooded with light. We loved the open plan room which meant cooks are not shut away. The two huge linen covered sofas in the main living area are very comfortable and we found that the simplicity and unfussiness of the room made this a great space, really relaxing. The two front bedrooms are on the left of the house and have large windows. A third ground floor bedroom looks onto the rear of the property and has an ordinary window. Upstairs is the gym and a sofa bed/extra bedroom. We found everything we needed. A big american fridge freezer, lots of dishes, storage space and a generous welcome pack with not only wines and soft drinks but herbs and spices too. We got a great welcome to the house and the only time we needed help it came instantly. You could not ask for a better response.. The garden is completely enclosed and the pool is separated from the main garden by the wall you can see in the pictures. It was kept at a pleasant 26 degrees and cared for weekly ,as was the garden. It is worth noting that there is a road runs alongside the house hidden from view by the wall, after a couple of days we no longer noticed it perhaps seduced by the house and garden. Uzes is close and easy to reach and there are lots of places to visit if you are so inclined. Uzes market is legendary there are great restaurants nearby or just chill and enjoy this lovely house.
