Montparnasse Saint Jacques Paris - One-Bedroom Apartment

😊: Flat is relatively new, spacious, with a good shower and blackout windows. Good location for local grocery shops, restaurants and transport, but directly behind a busy metro/ RER junction — which means it is too noisy to open the windows (but fine with them shut).. 😢: Poor communication with hosts and overall little attention to details. I told them about a burnt lamp but never got a reply; was given one toilet roll for the week; and had to buy all kitchenware like sponges and kitchen towel. Promised facilities, like luggage storage, were non-existent (though there is a place you can rent on the same road), and the cable TV was disconnected, with no explanation about how to reconnect it. The desk had a stool that was too high for it and the sofa bed in the living area is rather uncomfortable to sit on..

😊: Best accommodation we’ve ever had in Paris! We had a great time - it’s bigger than it seems in photos and beds are very comfortable. Also the owner is very kind and quick to react - we had issues with light in bathroom and same day he immediately send someone to fix it. There’s some cups and plates and pans and pots in the kitchen. There’s a hair dryer and coffee machine and oven and fridge which is great. Location - it’s close to catacombs, carrefour, cafes and restaurant. What’s more it’s close to multiple metro stations and train station and also buses that are going to the city centre.. 😢: Maybe more instructions of how to use AC is needed. We didn’t know how to optimise it and it was a little too warm for us. Also more toilet paper and soap would be nice to see. It was written on booking it’s provided and it wasn’t..

😊: Location was okay and well connected. 😢: Not super clean (glass table was dirty, we found two socks under the sofa bed).
