On est à la frontière entre Calvados et Manche donc idéal pour découvrir les plages américaines du Débarquement. Nous avons aussi pu découvrir une baie petite soyde la baie du Mont-Saint-Michel avec une colonie de phoques : génial ! En plus la piscine de 25 m chauffée permettait de bien de détendre quel que soit le temps !

Nous avons passé 3 jours dans cette location,très bien ,propre, spacieux,très bien équipée avec un lave vaisselle 😁et la résidence du chalet super la piscine au top

Schönes Häuschen, in dem alles drin und drumherum in Ordnung war. Die Anlage ist angenehm und ruhig. An warmen Tagen bedauert man, dass der Pool überdacht ist, aber einen Pool zu haben ist klasse. Leider ist der nächste echte Meer-Badestrand doch ein Stück weg, so dass man mit dem Auto los muss. Der Ort ist fußläufig zu erreichen und nett. Die Umgebung der Normandie ist verträumt und ländlich. Man sollte zumindest etwas französisch sprechen können, sonst wird es an manchen Stellen schwierig. Hier kann man schön Urlaub machen!

Our family (two adults and children aged 8 and 10) stayed here during the D-Day celebration. We had a fabulous vacation that was fun and educational. The chalet had everything we needed. It was clean and the community was quaint and quiet. It is a "family style" village, not for those who are looking for a party atmosphere. There is even a bread lady who drives through the village every morning selling baguettes and croissants. There is also a pool that the kids enjoyed. The cabin is small but very cozy. It is located just a couple of minutes drive from Omaha Beach, Pointe Du Hoc, and the American Military Cemetery. Utah Beach is about a 20 minute drive. The town of Grandcamp Maisy has restaurants, a grocery store, and a Saturday morning farmer's market at the dock where you can find vegetables, cidre, meat, and all kinds of seafood. Normandy is a wonderful place to visit!
