Pet Friendly Le Grand Gîte du Golf

We had a lovely time staying at this gite. Very spacious and comfortable accommodation with all necessary equipment. Lovely large pool and spacious grounds for walking the dog at night. The owner went out of his way to make everyone feel welcome, including Tuesday night gathering for all the guests with drinks and food.

We really enjoyed our 2 weeks staying with Dominique, he was an excellent host and very helpful with anything we needed, the pool was brilliant, the kids really enjoyed it and were in it up to 11.00 some nights it was so warm. Would highly recommend staying here a lot to see and do in the local area. A special mention must go to Poupette the dog who was always there for a fuss and a sausage from the BBQ!

We had a lovely week in Dominique’s gite. The gardens and pool area are very well kept and very peaceful with plenty of sun loungers available. The gite itself is spacious, modern, well equipped and tastefully decorated. A five minute drive takes you to a park and ride tram stop that takes you straight into Montpellier in about 15 minutes, which we found useful as parking in Montpellier is difficult. Dominique was a friendly and accommodating host, always available to answer any queries and give information on restaurants and local amenities. You will need a car as there are only a couple of restaurants within walking distance and the nearest supermarket is about a ten minute drive. The gite is a good base from which to explore the surrounding area.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour pour le FISE. Seulement 10 minutes de voiture pour y aller, 15 minutes pour aller à la mer. Des agréables moments au bord de la piscine. Seul petit bémol : nous cuisinons beaucoup et la vaisselle/ustensiles pourraient être complétés. Sinon tout parfait !

Da wohnt sichs schön, wichtig ist allerdings ein Auto, auch um an einen Strand zu kommen. Ansonsten war ich jeden Morgen zu Fuß beim Bäcker knapp 2 Km, dort ist auch die Straßenbahnhaltestelle nach Montpellier, dafür braucht man also kein Auto. Montpellier ist übrigens eine tolle Stadt zumindest die Altstadt. Ansonsten gute Basis um andere Sachen zu sehen, Nimes , Avignon, Uzes, Sete, Beziers, La Grande Motte, Carcassonne etwas weiter, und der Lac du Salagou unbedingt sehenswert. In der Nähe ein paar schöne Golfplätze. Die Unterkunft ist toll, einige Wohnungen aber man merkt nicht viel davon, Betten in Ordnung, Küche gut ausgestattet, Balkone und im Garten ein schöner Pool. Nebenan gleich eine Driving Range für die , die mal ein paar Bälle schlagen wollen

We had a great 2-week stay here! We used this as a base for the Euro2016 games. The apartment was great, very spacious! There was good cooking facilities and washing facilities!. The pool area was very nice too! The tram station is about a 10-minute walk, which takes you directly into Montpellier Centre The owner of the apartment Dominique was extremely helpful and would go out of his was to help as much as he could. He is a really lovely guy and made our stay here very welcoming! Dominique is the owner two lovely dogs Betty and Poopette! They are both very well behaved dogs and don't cause any bother. Poopette likes to steal flip flops so that you chase her and mess around, she is such a great character! Best of luck Dominique with your business, you deserve it!

We are a family of four who just spent two weeks in this lovely, spacious apartment. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. We love to cook, so we appreciated the well-equipped kitchen. The pool area is beautiful. There are lots of loungers for relaxing in the sun or in the shade. The property is quite big and beautifully maintained. We loved being able to get tomatoes and zucchini from the organic garden. Here you have the feeling that you are in the country, but it is only a 10-minute drive to the center of Montpellier. The lovely old town is a pedestrian zone and is filled with shops, cafes and restaurants. A choice of beaches like la Grande Motte, Palavas and our favorite l'Espiguette are within a 15-35 minute drive. I recommend visiting Aigues Mortes, Stes.Maries de la Mer and other destinations in the Camargue. Saint Guilhem le Désert is a beautiful mountain village where you can begin a spectacular hike. In picturesque Bouzigues you can eat the fresh oysters, mussels and clams. Not to be missed is the Sunday market in Mauguio. There are three supermarkets (Super U, Carrefour, Geánt) within a few minutes drive. Our wonderful hosts, Christine and Dominique, gave us many insider-tips and suggested things to do in the area. They were there to help when needed - in our case it was finding a dentist and with a brief a car problem. A highlight of our stay was their invitation to a poolside dinner for all the guests who were staying at Gîtes les Coquilloux. Hors-d'oevres and sangria followed by paella and a local wine, great conversation and a warm summer evening - it doesn't get much better than that! It was a great vacation. I highly recommend Gîtes les Coquilloux for travellers in this part of France. Thank you Christine and Dominique!

Spacious flat in a charming house with a fantastic garden. Interiour nice and personal and a well equiped kitchen with everything you need. The ppol area with sun beads, chairs and tables both in the sun and the shadow was very nice and much appriciated by our two kids. Location close to the sea, nice small villages and other interesting things to discover. Extremely nice and helpful owner that gave us great information on things to and restaurants to visit. Thanks a lot Dominique for a nice stay in your house!
