Romantic villa with pool & pool house between the Mediterranean Sea and the Gorges du Verdon

Very beautiful house, lots of space for everyone inside and outside in the garden. Very calm and quiet arrier. Several places where you Can dine, at the poolhouse, in the shadow outside, on the terrasse, inside. The pool is Nice, the petanque lane as Well. We loves everything about the house and our stay. We stayed two families with teenagers in Cotignac for one week. It was a heatrecord week with 40 deg so the poolarea were really appreciated. In the area you can find really something for everyone. Sports with hiking and amazing views in Verdon, vineyards, beautiful small villages with lovely shops and not by least all types of restaurants. Within in 1 to 1,5 hour drive you can also visit all more famous places like Nice, St Tropes and Marseille. Cotignac is a lovely village and we appreciate that it is not only a touristplace. The house is really as lovely as the pictures shows and in a very calm area. In the mornings we walked to the village and the bakery for croissants, about 30 min morning exercise, but you can be lazy and take Spar 5 minutes away. Spar is a very well equipped little Supermarket. We spent the evenings playing table tennis and relaxing with good barbecue. The house is very well equipped and Sébastien and Éléna are the best hosts. Easy and fast to communicate with and they really assists us with everything we needed. We really hope that we will come back soon!

Fantastic choice for 2 families. We had a great time and there were loads of things to keep the kids entertained. Everything was clean and smart and comfortable and the kitchen was really well equipped. Mosquito nets on the windows would have been an improvement as we were bitten relentlessly at night and it was too hot to sleep with windows closed. We missed the small print about an additional 150 euro cash payment for cleaning so that was an unpleasant surprise.

We were a party of 6 adults and 3 children who stayed in this lovely home in July. We had a great week lounging by the pool, using the new barbecue, relaxing in the wonderful cool house, cooking in the well equipped kitchen and enjoying the petanque and table tennis. The villa had plenty of space with four bedrooms and even the poolhouse has a bed if required. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. The location for us was perfect, a quiet 5-10 min stroll to the well stocked Spar, or an evening walk down vineyard lanes, or a 25 min walk into town. Elena communicated with us frequently with great advice and suggestions. We had wonderful days swimming in the Verdon Gorge and Sillans-la-Cascade. The kayaking at 'new evasion provence canoe' was great as well as the cotignac and salernes markets. Dinner under the tree at Le Temps de Pose was one of our favourites. Happy memories.
