Secluded Gite, private garden, large heated pool, tranquil setting

The property really did live up to the expectations of the photographs. A really lovely set up, and the owners Jo and Paul were wonderful and very helpful with local advise and recommendations. We particluarly loved the hot tub especially as it is covered so when it was raining it didnt matter! The pool was the only one i have ever been to that was properly heated to a perfect temperature. We highly recommend a stay here.

This is a stunning location, huge grounds with lots to explore and greenery everywhere you look. The gite has everything you could possibly need, was immaculately clean and very comfortable. A huge plus for us was the covered seating area, offering shade in good weather and shelter when it rained. The pool was fantastic, large and warm with plenty of pool toys available for the kids. Jo and Paul have every base covered and made us feel very welcome, whilst giving us plenty of space. They really went out of their way to keep the kids entertained, with lots of toys and games available for use. The local night markets are superb and well worth a visit. In summary: a fantastic, peaceful stay!

The Gite was perfect and the location idyllic. Jo and Paul are quite the nicest people we have met and nothing was too much trouble. Had a lovely welcome pack of French bread ,wine, cheese and a lovely big bag of crisps, just what you need after a long journey. Heated swimming pool was superb and lovely pool surroundings. Highly recommended.

We had an excellent week at the gite of Jo and Paul. The gite is greatly suited and equipped with all you need. Good beds, great kitchen and cosy terras close to the pool. We visited several castles and villages in the area all equally beautiful. Definitely a place to recommend. Thanks Paul and Jo for you kindness, hospitality and answers to our questions. Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Le gîte est très agréable avec sa jolie terrasse fleurie. La maison est restée fraiche alors que nous étions en période de fortes chaleurs. La piscine et le terrain sont très bien entretenus. Jo Paul, les propriétaires, sont charmants, disponibles et discrets. Il faut neanmoins prévoir d'utiliser beaucoup sa voiture pour découvrir les environs (gros coups de cœur pour les marchés gourmands de producteurs dans les bastides) : Biron, Bonaguil, Montflanquin, Montpazier... Une adresse que nous retiendrons.

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans ce jolie gîte. Nous avons reçu un très bon accueil de la part Jo et Paul qui nous avait préparé une bonne bouteille de Vin une baguette et un fromage. Tout était très propre et bien décoré. Une buanderie est à disposition avec des jeux , des dvd pour enfant et également quelques jeux pour la piscine. Le jardin est magnifique et la piscine très bien exposée à fait le bonheur des enfants. Une petite pensée pour Willow, leur labrador qui a été la jolie rencontre avec l’une de nos filles. Encore merci et à un de ces jours peut-être car nous reviendrons avec plaisir. La famille SIMON

We spent 5 days at Poplar Gite and it was everything we had hoped for. Rustic French charm but clean and comfortable and well kitted out. The pool was a real bonus and kept the kids entertained for hours. We didn’t go out and about too much but it would be a good base from which to explore the area. It’s pretty remote so a car is essential, but it’s a perfect get away to relax in the sun.
