Stunning Gite, private garden, large heated pool, tranquil and historic setting

lovely gite , clean and comfortable . Access to second floor bedroom has a tight and very narrow winding steps to manœuvre .Lovely pool and a myriad of wonderful villages to discover in the area. Welcoming host and hostess, Jo and Paul.

Nice welcome from Paul, who was very helpful during our stay. A little more flexibility over the arrival time would have been appreciated from Jo. We appreciated the welcome pack. Disappointed that the loungers were removed from the pool before we left, without our knowledge. It felt like it was the end of their season and they were keen to close down. The fridge was old and had some black mould. The property would benefit from more crockery and glasses.

A big thank you to Jo and Paul who couldn't do enough for us and treated us like family. The nicest host we have met. The facilities are outstanding with a wonderful pool and relaxing gardens (including the visiting deer). The Gite was perfect, exceptionally clean and equipped with everything you need to make it a home from home. A perfect place for peace, quiet and sun but there are some great places to visit; - Villareal Monday night food market very lively and a great night - Fumel Thursday night food market a slightly quieter night but just as much fun - Issigeac Sunday day market really lively and some good bargains to be had. We could not recommend this place or hosts highly enough. We will be back!

Wonderful setting. So peaceful, Jo and Paul were very friendly, helpful and attentive without being intrusive at all. Super comfy beds, and lovely bedding. Fantastic stay for the four of us. Highly recommended. Thank you both xx

Our gite was part of an old hamlet in a delightful setting. Both the property and the grounds were very well maintained and our hosts, Jo and Paul, were attentive and friendly throughout. The pool was much used during a gloriously hot week. Thank you Delphine!

We had an amazing stay at La Terrisse, the gite had everything we needed and the pool was amazing especially in the 39oc heat! There are supermarkets in Fumel which is literally a 5 minute drive and Jo and Paul were so helpful and nothing was too much x if you need to reset and recharge the batteries then here is the place to do it…….

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour ! Très grande propriété avec un beau jardin bien entretenu. La piscine est vraiment un plus. Les cottages sont très charmants et bien équipés. Nous avons apprécié le calme, les nombreuses petites attentions laissées ça et là par Jo. Paul et Jo sont disponibles et veillent à notre confort. A recommander !

This is a lovely gite in the Lot valley. As two couples, we liked the layout of two double bedrooms with their own ensuite facilities. The kitchen and fridge are a bit small but having the large outside patio in the shade more than made up for this issue. The pool area is well supplied with comfortable loungers and the view is very pleasant. This is a great area for exploring castles and the bastide towns like Monflanquin. There are a number of good restaurants within a short drive.
