😊: Location is great.. 😢: Management of proprtey was worst Ive seen in 30 years visiting Nice. Booking.com said security deposit would be collected at the apartment. No. We arrived, despite sending my mobile number 2 times. A security code was sent in email (i dont speak Fench) but there were 2 doors, one at the entrance and one for the apartment and the code was not for the msin door.. The idiot dealing with this had been there one hour before, clearly thought he was too important to meet, despite being payed already. Then eventually, when my family including young child were getting very upset, sent me a garbage whatsapp,, lhe code for the main door. But, being a genious, as we were standing outside for an hour, and with restaurant staff trying to help, this genious semds me whatsapp instructions. This apartment is 83 steps up. He sends a picture of a door (there are no door numbers anywhere ) which was historical and didnt include the keybox he was describing. He then sends a whatsapp which is supposedly a translation which sends me an hour round trip walking past the port in 35° heat after travelling for 12x hours. They didnt have keys. If he had answered the bloody phone. I had sent my mobile phone number 2 times before but no answer. Too lazy, and too incompetent. And then, on the day of leaving, I receive an email with instructions. Who the hell reads email on holidays. Left me searching for bins at 11pm night before leaving. Instructions, should have been given at beginning. Worst I have ever seen in 30 years. May be just one idiot. AVOID THESE PEOPLE.

😊: I really liked the location of the apartment. It's right in the center of the old town. The view is gorgeous. It's literally a couple of minutes to the beach.. 😢: I really disliked the check-in process. I missed the message about the landlord asking for a 500 euro deposit. When I arrived and realized I couldn't get into the apartment, I started messaging and trying to get in touch. But the landlord didn't respond for about three hours. It was already around 10 PM, and I was then deciding to rent another apartment to spend the night. The landlord finally got in touch when the streetlights were already on. But it was too late... There's no point in figuring out who's right and who's wrong... But the impression was ruined from the start. Next: - 6th floor. Steep stairs. 87 steps to the top. It's HELL!! I will remember the feeling of not wanting to go home for the rest of my life! It's a very difficult journey. - The central square. People are yelling and blasting music on huge speakers. It's simply impossible to sleep. This goes on until 3 or 4 a.m. It's impossible to close the windows (it's too hot), and impossible to sleep with them open (it's too noisy). And on top of all that, the bell at the central church starts ringing at 8 a.m. Even on weekends. It's unlikely the apartment owner can do anything about it... But these factors are a significant drawback. I definitely won't be returning to this apartment next year! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!.
