The atmosphere was so profoundly quiet that it felt as though the world outside had simply ceased to exist. We were enveloped in a hushed, ethereal cocoon of silence that allowed for total inner peace and a stillness rarely found in this life. The kitchen block is a marvel of rustic, raw craftsmanship.
