studio a la campagne

We were expecting difficulty in finding this property, deep in the Dordogne, but Google maps came up trumps. The time taken to reach it after the main roads ran out was, however, a small problem. The property was lovely, spacious and in a beautiful garden space with wide views of the countyside. Our hosts were very kind and helpful. Fully outfitted kitchen, some kit was missing - no kettle - but I imagine the very hard water makes that problematic. We used a lovely barbeque, provided by our host most days. A very good supermarket 20 minutes away in the car, and basic facilities in the village.

Lovely hosts. The property living space is small, but a large bedroom. No garden area with the gite just the owners garden so no sun loungers. Nice place to sit immediately outside the gite though.

Logement très agréable, terrasse très appréciable pour les repas et pour profiter des soirées en extérieur. Rapport qualité prix très correct. L'accueil et la sympathie des propriétaires, Polo et Isabelle, apporte un plus au séjour.

Les propriétaires sont vraiment très gentils et très disponibles. La maison est parfaite. Nous conseillons vraiment ce havre de paix.

Excellent accueil, propriétaires à l’écoute, discrets, sympathiques, logement agréable. Très bon séjour d’une semaine. A recommander.
