UNE VILLA PRESTIGIEUSE AU CALME À PROXIMITÉ DU CENTRE DE LA VILLE D’UZÈS

We have just returned from a wonderful 2 weeks at Villa Rose.What a beautiful Villa with amazing facilities, everything you can think of!RoomsSpacious bedrooms with no unnecessary clutter or decorations.Comfortable beds with a fan in each room to keep cool at night. Shutters and mosquito nets on all the door leading out from each bedroom so all are as comfortable as can be in the climate. Rooms very clean with fresh and fluffy towels! Very comfortable!Bathrooms/toiletsAll very clean with nice toiletries provided. Showers worked well and plenty of storage and space in each bathroom. No feeling of being cramped. Living areasAgain very spacious with nice furniture, no extra clutter or decorations/ornaments. TV had steaming services so kids were happy when they needed to escape the heat for a little while. Lots of games and jigsaws in the cupboards which we enjoyed!KitchenWe found everything we needed! Perfect for families who want to self cater for their holiday! We were very impressed with the range of items provided. Very clean and well maintained.OutsideAbsolutely wonderful for a holiday with a family! The pool is outstanding, so huge so great for the kids but the steps allow for easy access for those who are older or not so steady on their feet. The kitchen free flows outside to an undercover area set slightly back form the pool so you wont get splashed when having a break in the shade but close enough to keep an eye on the kids. There were lots of sun beds which, when we arrived, had no pads/pillows so they were super uncomfortable but as soon as we asked for some Rachel delivered some the next day. A really great experience all round with the concierge service so big shout out to them!AreaThe Villa is in a beautiful area, nice and quiet but only 5 mins drive to Uzes which we went to several times and loved it! The Saturday market was a great experience as well as having dinner under the arcades in Place Aux Herbes one evening - thoroughly recommended! The Pont Du Gard is 20 mins away which is beautiful and a swim/paddle/kayak in the river is so much fun! Finally, Jana was great with her communication right from initial booking to the holidays itself. It was lovely how welcoming and friendly she was!We had such a great time, would definitely considering going again and would 100% recommend to others.

We (extended family of 9 adults) had a great time at this beautiful property, about 15 minutes walk from the lovely town of Uzes. The house and grounds are very large and luxurious. It feels very secluded despite being only a short walk from town. Very well appointed with a large and well maintained pool. The cooling system in the house uses underfloor pipes. It does not keep the house as cool as conventional air conditioning, but we found it adequate despite outside temperatures in the high 30s celsius.We would highly recommend Villa Rose to anyone looking for a luxury villa for a large party in this beautiful part of France.

Villa Rose near Uzes is as close to perfect as you can get. Location is perfect - secluded but very near to Uzes. Very well equipped with good quality kitchenware. Clean, spacious, well decorated. The bicycles were great quality too and enabled numerous trips into town. The pool was amazing - 30c during the week we were here. The weather was very hot -over 40c but the pool kept us cool. The house has a reverse heating system which did keep it cool - maybe not as cool as true air con but probably better for the environment. The children were not forgotten with pool toys, table tennis, trampoline and toys all provided. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Within walking distance of the centre of Uzès, a house in a quiet area, and not overlooked. Well equiped and comfortable.

This stunning house is situated just outside the lovely town Uzes, no more than 1 km walking distance to the center. The house is equipped with everything your can possibly dream of. The only thing we could not find in this house was scales, but there is well equipped gym. All the bathrooms have bath robes, slippers, schampoos, conditioners etc. The bathrooms are very luxuriously designed. The outdoor area is magnificent with a huge pool and terrace just in front of the house, with 6-8 sunbeds, outside kitchen and dining area. You can easily seat 10 people for dinner, both outside and inside. The garden is beautiful and set in different levels, there are olive trees, fruit trees, fragrant flowers. Everything in the garden is in perfect order.Our only small problem was the heating in one of the bedrooms, a bit too warm for me. Of course you can just open the window, but I called the property manager and he came by within a couple of hours with a climate technician and took care of my problem. Never before have I experienced such perfect service!I have rented houses in the Uzes area for 12-13 years, and this is, without doubt, the most fantastic house we have ever stayed in. We will be back here many times.

Villa Rose provided us with the ideal home for our whole family get together of 7 adults and 4 children. There was plenty of space for everyone both inside and outside, so we were all able to relax in the sun or in the shade without feeling on top of one another. The pool was perfect - room for a decent swim, with wide steps in one corner where little children could sit and splash. The villa is beautifully situated with a lovely view over the trees and near enough to Uzes for Grampa to take a bike (there are a number of adult and children's bikes provided) and ride into Uzes for the morning croissants. There is a boules pitch, which our family greatly enjoyed, a big trampoline, a table tennis table and a little wigwam for the children - although ours preferred to play houses in the sauna room! All in all we had a wonderful holiday at Villa Uzes making precious memories that we will always treasure ❤️

Villa Rose was all we had hoped for and more! Our family has rented many homes in the USA and Canada, and Villa rose exceeded all our expections. Beginning with prompt, accurate responses to our inquiries, followed by a personal and welcoming arrival, to continued interest and timely response to all communication while we stayed at the Villa for three months, I really can't say enough good things. The property was immaculate, thoughtfully stocked with every comfort we could hope to find, including bathrobes, hair dryers, high quality toiletries, great towels and a well stocked kitchen and good wifi. The gym had great equipment, including yoga mats,and the private infrared sauna was the perfect end to the day. The villa was a 15-20 minute beautiful walk to the heart of the Uzes. Our three children attended school while there and we were met by friendly, welcoming locals throughout our time in Uzes. The house is across the road from a riding stable where our son took horsebackriding lessons in dressage and over fences while we there. We also would ride the bikes provided with the property (a great perk of the property!) to the neighbouring village for weekly pottery lessons (15 min by bike) or just for a ride amongst the vineyards and blooming fields of poppies (breathtaking). I also took weekly French lessons by a fantastic teacher in the village as well as a cooking class offered by one of the local cooking schools. Cooking lessons in the south of France - what could be better!?In the cooler nights we made a fire in the fireplace (wood was provided) or used the beautiful outdoor kitchen/fireplace. The pool was carefully cleaned and cared for weekly by a nice guy who shared local wisdom with us and was much appreciated. We found Uzes perfectly located to visit neighboring attractions... other beautiful villages of St Remy, Aix en Provence, Orange, Nimes, Avignon, Arles and Ales, among others. We also visited Carcassone, Nice and Sete. Natural beauty, ancient history, and great food at the markets and local restaurants kept our imaginations and bellies full. Three months wasn't long enough. Thank you Jana and Jeff for sharing your expertly appointed, inviting home built on such a lovely property with us. We were sad to leave before all the developing fruit on the trees in the orchard was ripe! We hope to come back one day.
