Villa 98 - Villa de standing avec piscine chauffée

The Villa is very beautiful with amazing panoramic views. All bedrooms were equally nice and came with their own AC. Pool was perfect size. Saime , the villa concierge, was very responsive and friendly. Short-ish walk down to the beaches and to the nearest grocery store was handy too! My only point of comment, is that the basic essentials that you may expect (coffee pods, toilet paper, blowdryer, salt/pepper) were limited. For example, the villa came equipped with a Nespresso machine and one sleeve of coffee pods. This was barely enough for all of us to have coffees the first morning and then we couldn’t find compatible pods at the grocery store. The concierge brought us another sleeve when we asked about them, but it was an additional charge. This is very minor. And definitely did NOT diminish our experience at all. Just make sure to bring those items with you!

We enjoyed the Villa. Swimming in the Pool and eating together at the large table in the evening were the Highlights of the day. A visit to the Beach (Club 44) on foot was also possible. We also recommend a boat Trip to Saint Tropez or a Visit to the wednesday market in Frejius. It was great that each bedroom had its own bathroom.

We rented another house via Salome Cohen which was bigger, nicer and more luxurious. We got pushed to this house as she told us the original house could not be rented as AIRCO broke down. We did get a small refund as compensation but when we checked the original house (which was close by) we found out that another family just checked in and had the exact same experience with Salome as they also rented another much nicer house but got pushed to this house instead. AIRCO worked perfect. It were all lies. Looks like they were able to get a better rate for another house and pushed several families to lesser houses. Caused us and 2 other families lots of stress as for days we were not sure we'd actually get a replacement house. And to make it worse, she tried to charge us more money for electricity and other items after the fact. She cannot be trusted and makes up stories continuously. Strongly advise to not rent with Salome Cohen or the agency she represents. This specific house is not bad. 7 double rooms are comfortable, all with own bathroom and good working AIRCO. House is spacious. Kitchen well equipped. BBQ works good. Pool is great. Garden is very small and garage only fits one car. House has a very steep driveway. Wifi is poor.
