Villa d'architecte contemporaine standing grande piscine,vue 7 km Carcassonne

George's house is fantastic. The outdoor space and pool are beautiful. Indoors is also stunning and very well equipped. If you want a quiet holiday with fantastic views and places to relax, I would recommend. A short drive to the wonderful city of Carcassonne. My only very small gripe (mainly mentioned by the teenage contingent) was the poor Wifi.

The views were spectacular and the pool was brilliant. The property was clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and cooking essentials. The property had four air conditioned bedrooms (one of these bedrooms was accessed through another bedroom) and one mezzanine level with two beds. The bedrooms were clean, spacious and well furnished. Although there is no air conditioning in the living area, it has two ceiling fans to cool the space which worked well for us. The host, Georges, stays in the grounds in his own property and is very helpful. He left us to ourselves though so we didn't feel bothered at all. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay!

This Villa is modern and beautifully appointed in a rural location with outstanding views towards the Pyrenees. It is well equipped with the most comfortable beds and quality bedlinen. The kitchen has everything you need for a stay. The pool is larger than the photo suggests. There is a very small convenience store in the village but 10 mins away in Carcassonne offers many large supermarkets, bars and restaurants. Hosts George and Marie are delightful, very helpful and live discreetly next door. This for us was a special place to stay as we enjoyed the walks directly from the Villa and quiet setting.

Property was great. Loads of space and really amazing views! Beds were comfortable. Showers nice and powerful. The pool was the best bit being able to swim and admire the views. The location was out of the way and really quiet The weather for us wasn't great but there was lots to do around us if you're happy to drive. The owner was next door and really helpful. Showed us around personally and explained things. His English was really good. My daughter loved playing with his dog.

The house is as big and spacious as depicted in the listing, with a beautiful infinity pool and an awesome view!! The beds are very comfortable, but wish the pillows could be a bit firmer. It’s in the countryside so be prepared for some mosquitoes. Out of the 7 nights of our stay, hot water was not quite hot enough on about 2.5 days for some reason. The host fixed it the first time, but unfortunately, Georges was out of town and Marie was out too the second time, so the issue persisted on our last 1.5 days. Overall, it was a good stay.

We have just spent a week at this property and we have had a fantastic holiday. The accommodation is first class and really well equipped. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are high spec. The photos on this site don’t really do it justice … it really is a beautiful holiday property and we will definitely be returning!

La maison est grande, bien organisée et les équipements sont hyper complets. J’avais pris plein de petites choses avec moi car nous avions eu une mauvaise expérience l’année précédente et je n’ai rien utilisé hormis mon presse-agrumes électrique (il y en a un manuel) tout y est: épices, huile,sucre, café, tablettes lave-vaisselle, curé-dents…même si vous devez amener toutes ces choses, c’est fort appréciable que cela y soit pour le début ou en cas d’oubli. Tout cela invite à prendre soin de la maison comme de la vôtre. La propriété est immense et vous pouvez vous balader dans le domaine. Georges et Marie sont aux petits soins tout en étant discrets. Un grand merci pour les bouteilles de rosé et vos bons soins! Le quartier est super calme et sera le point de départ de magnifiques balades dans la montagne noire. La piscine est juste magique et sécurisante car 1m30 de profondeur, idéale pour les enfants. Bref un havre de paix dans une nature encore intacte.

From the minute you walk in and see the amazing view you are not disappointed. The property is excellent with high standard fittings and fixtures , most of the bedrooms take advantage of the view and to sit having meals overlooking the pool was totally relaxing and just what we needed. The welcome From George and Marie the owners to make sure we had all we needed added to the time we spent there. Understanding each other was never a problem George spoke excellent English. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to go back. Sandra and Cliff
