Villa Menton “un havre de paix avec vue mer imprenable “

The first thing we all said on arriving was that the photos we had seen didn't do this lovely house justice! The villa is a beautiful, well-equipped home, with an absolutely stunning view of Menton and the bay, and the town and beach a 15-20 minute walk down the hill. The main shopping street and old town are just a little further. We managed without a car: there are 6 buses a day in each direction, and an Uber if you need it (costs about 12 Euros from the station). In the 32 - 36 degree heat, the walk up the hill was taxing sometimes, so we really loved having the gorgeous pool (long enough to actually swim - about 8 - 9 metres), and the air con, which was a must. There were also two nice spots to eat outdoors - by the pool until midday, and on the fabulous balcony by night. Michele and Jean-Pierre were charming hosts, who made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We had a wonderful holiday in Menton, and would thoroughly recommend this lovely accommodation.
