Villa spacieuse, totalement adaptée aux normes PMR

😊: The property itself was very spacious and beautiful. It was enclosed in a quiet residential area. We had use of the facilities: a washing machine, oven, and dishwasher. There was an elevator, making the property disability-friendly; however, the location is up a lot of hills, so travelling via car would be necessary. The property was clean, with several bathrooms to accommodate larger families, one of which was also disability friendly. There was an area outside to enjoy a barbecue; however, we found there were too many biting insects to enjoy the space. Because I ran out of characters in the other section I would like to add, the properties location is in the residential area of Nice. It's nice and quiet but it is difficult to navigate if you don't have a car. Buses come every 20-30 minutes so factor that into your stay. The description listed its a 10-minute walk into town but we spent at least 30 minutes a day between walking and trams to get to Old Nice. It would be difficult to get back up the hill on foot - it's pretty steep and winding. Returning in the evenings, we used the 33 bus or Ubers.. 😢: Booking this property came with several issues. Before arrival, we were added to a WhatsApp group with the owner, which initially felt welcoming. However, we later learned we would have visits every two days during our stay so the fish could be fed and plants watered. While we understand the owner’s concerns, this impacted our sense of privacy during our holiday. They sent a list of rules to follow while on the property. More issues with messages below. We were informed before arrival that the kettle was faulty, the elevator needed repair (it worked but was extremely slow), and the main shower had low water pressure. We were told these would not be fixed during our stay, which did not resolve the inconvenience for guests. The biggest disappointment was the sleeping arrangements. Despite being advertised for multiple guests, only two beds were proper beds. The others were sofa beds or Murphy beds and were very uncomfortable, resulting in poor sleep. The property also felt more like a private home than a holiday rental, with personal belongings throughout, including family photos, personal items, and locked cupboards. I stayed in a room clearly belonging to a child/teenager, which was not reflected in the Booking.com photos. There was also a lack of privacy, as the hosts accessed the property while we were out to feed the fish and garden. This could be avoided through automatic feeders and sprinklers. Although the owner said to contact him with any issues, I was reluctant to do so given their mobility difficulties. After returning home, I received very unprofessional messages from the owner that we had damaged things in his home. He sent a photo of a broken charging station that had been fine when we were there; the host had even done a walk-around twice. The owner became irate, and at that point I blocked further contact..

😊: The villa's view is amazing. It is quite spacious and comfortable for a group of people.. 😢: It could be a bit cleaner - there were quite a lot of dust in some bedrooms. But it's just neat picking..

😊: Large villa, with plenty of space and great outdoor areas. Very comfortable and homely.They were very accommodating, allowing early drop off of luggage and communicated quickly, with any of the questions we had. Having off road parking was good..
