It was everything as advertised. A heated pool would have been better and special lamps to zap the mosquitoes as an idea for future renters. Refrigerator with ice making capability was a huge surprise and the greatest, most appreciated, feature! (funny to say but true). No coffee drip machine but coffee percolators (discovery for most Americans). Good space for 6 of us! Will consider renting the same villa every year.

Enjoyed our stay here very much. The location is walking distance to the beach. Many bars and restaurants to choose from. The house is somewhat dated, but very functional, a beautiful patio overlooking the med. The upper level has a pool, which was a little chilly in April but a great place to relax. The yard is expansive and you can walk all over finding new trees and flowers around each corner. If you enjoy spending your time quietly outside, this is a real gem. The kitchen was functional and worked considering we ate out most nights. The outdoor grill was underwhelming. Ride up the road to the Cole de Madone, Turn left to get to Turbie for coffee, or keep going to Sospel then on to Turini. Turn right to ride to Italy and finish in San Remo! The roads inland beautiful and such a pleasure to ride. Some even to the point of defying any logic.

We loved the space, the pool and fantastic views. House is in a quiet location and the opposite end of the town where the charming old part of the city is, night life and big beach. We walk there in the day and drove in the evenings. The small beaches just as you walked down were lovely and more quiet. Louis was the perfect host and easy to communicate with. It takes 10 min to walk down to Menton. Good exercise to walk up again. Air conditioning is quieter and works better on the ground and first floor. We all fell in love with Menton and would love to come back and stay there again.

L’emplacement et le site est parfait. La climatisation et la piscine ont été très appréciés en juillet. La terrasse est magnifique. On peut facilement se rendre à la plage à pied par un chemin piétonnier sécuritaire. On y a passé de très belles vacances.

We were very impressed by our stay in this house. The estate seems built well-thought-out a few decades ago. An amazing view from the terrace down the hill to Menton, Cap Martin and the sea is crucial and really luxury. The pool is located a few yards above the hill and allows to enjoy silent moments with the sea-view. Neighbours are far away and it cannot be guessed where the property ends. The piano was in tune and the air conditioning silent and effective.
