😊: The cleaner Sophie was extremely helpful in helping us to enter the building and also escorted us to the centre of La Rochelle. She was very informative and knowledgeable.. 😢: As a retired builder I found the place in a very poor state. The pictures do not tell the truth, there was mould on the ceiling, electrical light fittings were loose. Makeshift wall which split the room into two has paper hanging off. No ceiling light in the twin bedroom. The shower head had no holder. The kitchen sink tap comes off in your hand. The twin bedroom blind handle was broken. The view out of the windows were just other flats. The toilet wasn't fixed properly and moves when you sit on it. The passage lights did not work. There were many other things wrong. In my opinion the place needs a lot of attention..

😊: Overall, the apartment was clean. The beds were comfortable enough. The owner is polite and answers messages.. 😢: The place is falling apart and requires maintenance. Some kitchen items missing such as cutting boards or cooking utensils. Parking is free but it’s a bit of a walk especially if you have a lot of luggage..
