Annecy au calme - One-Bedroom Apartment

😊: Nothing.. 😢: It was extremely hot. The owner disclosed that there is no AC which I usually wouldn’t mind. But the apartment was directly under the roof that apparently is not insulated. The bedroom is a tiny space up a couple of stairs even further under the roof. The window was covered with a black magnetic foil to keep some heat out which didn’t work at all. There were several fans in the apartment that couldn’t cool the space out at all. When I arrived at around 8pm it was 37 degrees outside and it must have been over 40 degrees inside. The space was not livable at all so I left the same evening and went back home. The owner had zero understanding that this is not acceptable and was not willing to compromise on a refund. Worst experience on booking.com in 20 years..

😊: We had a wonderful stay! Me and my boyfriend visited Annecy for my birthday and this apartment was the perfect getaway for the occasion.The apartment was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was perfect, very quiet.Our host was very friendly, quick to respond, and made check-in super easy. I would definitely recommend this place and would happily stay again.. 😢: N/A.

😊: The apartment itself was pleasant and very clean, which we appreciated. However, there were a few small things missing — for example, we were told there would be coffee in the drawer, but there wasn’t any. Also, there was only one large serving plate, which felt a bit limited for a booking meant for two people.. 😢: The one major downside for me was the stairwell, which had a strong smell of urine. On one occasion, I was followed while walking back to the apartment at night. While the neighborhood may be considered safe, the walk from the city center to the apartment after dark felt unsettling and not something I would want to experience again..

schöne und gemütliche Unterkunft<br>#128578; die Lage war gut mit sehr guter Parksituation, im Haus und der Umgebung war es sehr ruhig, bei geöffnetem Fenster entferne Stadtgeräusche, die nicht störten, gemütliche, schön eingerichtete und saubere Wohnung. Die Entfernung in die Altstadt gut machbar., man läuft quasi nur gerade aus, über eher Nebenstraßen. Schnelles und freundliches Antworten vom Gastgeber. Ich würde die Unterkunft erneut buchen.<br>#128577; einige der Treppenstufen in das Schlafzimmer "knackten" beim drauftreten, da aus Stahl. Ich fühlte mich irgendwie schlecht, gerade in der Nacht, ob es die Nachbarn stört ? ist jetzt aber als solches nicht wirklich negativ, ist mir halt nur aufgefallen.

Exceptional<br>#128578; A lovely modern and cosy apartment, with all the facilities you need to make your stay comfortable. About a twenty minute walk from the train station and town centre, not bad at all, and we were provided with bikes which we used most days to cycle into town or around the lake to various swimming spots! The host was fantastically communicative and helpful, we definitely recommend staying here :)
