Appartement Annecy Green

😊: Our purpose was work/ holiday, so wifi was important and access to the lake, and a not too busy environment. All 100% score. 😢: Parking in the garage was difficult for us (designed for small french city cars). Luckily an alternative parking option was found.

😊: The apartment is in a modern, quiet, residential block in a pleasant suburb of the town. The lake and old town are within easy walking distance (15mins) all flat. We are fit, able bodied fifty some things and don't mind exercise. The apartment is well equipped and spacious. The host was very pleasant to deal with, comms were prompt and easy.. 😢: Nothing tbh. Annecy is a stunning destination, so much to see and do for the adventurous and for those who like a more relaxed vibe..

😊: We had a very pleasant stay at this location, the appartment is very clean and well equiped, the balcony is large and cosy, the area is quiet and civilezed, the underground parking was useful and it is nearby, by car, to the lake and the old city center. The Dyson cooler was helpful and also the window rollers. We recommend it for a visit in Annecy..

😊: It was a two-bedroom place, which we wanted. Although the second bedroom was basically a child’s room designed for a 10-year old girl.. 😢: The caretaker was quite harsh. When we were getting ready to leave, we rinsed all the dishes/glasses and put them in the sink. She told us that we should have put them in the dishwasher and that this could resulted in the forfeit of our Euro 300 security deposit! Luckily it didn’t! Whew - we could have been busted for a dishwasher violation! Also, the security deposit was to have been released shortly after we left. However, the “hold” remained on our credit card for nearly 25 days. To be fair, the owner showed us proof that the hold had been lifted but it kept showing up on our credit card like a Sword of Damocles over our head. Just annoying as it required a lot of follow-up on my part..
