Appartement Carcassonne résidence capucins

😊: Location was excellent for us, 10 mins to the Place Carnot square, an extra few minutes to the train station. 20 mins walk to Carcassonne Castle. Facilties were excellent. Pool was great and the residents were friendly. Felt very secure and safe, travelling with my 3 year old and mother. Onsite secure parking if needed.. 😢: Pool could benefit from some sort of shaded area..

😊: Nice simple apartment, easy walk into centre but further away from old Medival town but we preferred it. Air conditioning. It was easy to get into apartment with key safe.. 😢: The terrace is by carpark. Smell from the pipes in bathroom. pool not open until mid June 26.

😊: Very clean and comfortable. Everywhere was spotless. The bed was large and really comfortable. This, along with the black out window shutters, meant we slept really well. Great TV in the lounge with Netflix. Nice outdoor terrace which gets the morning sun. It looks out over the car park, unfortunately, but it still is a nice place to sit for coffee or breakfast. Good correspondence with the host who sent clear instructions and responded to all messages promptly. We enjoyed our stay here a lot.. 😢: The area feels quite residential. In a way this was nice because it was quiet and peaceful. But it also meant quite a walk, I'd say 10 mins to the La Bastide Saint-Louis and 30 mins to La Cite, the charming medieval upper city. We were aware of this before booking and it is therefore not a criticism but may be relevant for others who would prefer to be in a more touristy part of town. The area felt safe and everyone was friendly. The communal pool is closed until sometime in June. It may have said this somewhere in the information but we weren't aware of this until we arrived..

😊: It's in a good location, the building is quiet, everything worked in the apartment. The beds are very comfortable, even the pullout couch!. 😢: There was mould smell in the bathroom..
