Appartement en duplex dans un ancien prieuré, 5 personnes, 2 chambres

We had a great week in Dinard. The flat was comfortable and well equipped - dishwasher and washing machine were brand new. Checkin process was easy, we were met very punctually to hand over the keys and show us around. Communication with the owner was great, any questions were answered swiftly. We would certainly stay again. Thanks Sophie (and Frederic!) for the warm welcome.

L'appartement, en plus de sa situation et de la vue superbe, a beaucoup de charme. En outre, la résidence offre des commodités plus qu'appréciables (l'accès direct à la plage, le parc, le parking et l'ascenseur).

Location dans un très très bel endroit avec une vue sur la plage du Prieuré et la ville de Saint Malo. Parc arboré ou les enfants peuvent facilement courir, qui donne directement sur la plage du Prieuré (très bon spot de pêche à pied à marée basse) et la promenade au Clair de Lune. Parc arboré du Port Breton à 200 mètres (aire de jeu pour enfants, petite ménagerie, grandes pelouses).

It was perfect. The view of the bay and St Malo, especially at night. The location was perfect too. The property was gated and immaculately landscaped with a private spot to park our car. There was plenty of room in the apartment with everything we needed. We had to ask about a couple of things and Sophie answered my e-mails almost intermediately. We very much enjoyed our stay.

This apartment was the highlight of our France vacation. The entire front of both floors are windows w/electric shades for privacy, which we only used upstairs in the bedroom at night. We had a "show" watching the boats, even a cruise ship one day, go in & out of the harbor/cove, & the changing shoreline w/extreme tides. Our 1st full day was rainy, but having a "home away from home" was truly enjoyable, staying inside, able to do laundry, & have a kitchen that enabled us to have low budget, home cooked food. As others before me have said, the photos do not do justice to this apt., as the views are superb! In addition, the owner, Sophie, was a delight, always responding quickly to all my concerns.

We're a family of 5 (3 kids, 9, 7 and 2 years old) and we thoroughly enjoyed our summer vacation in Dinard. We're so happy that we found this apartment. It was well equipped, with a stunning view and the location was perfect. The beach is just at the end of the garden, and the city centre of Dinard is a 15 min walk. The closest bakery is only a 5 min walk. There's also a private parking which is a plus if you have a car like us. The apartment was actually nicer in real life compared to the pictures of it. We would definitely like to come back!

We enjoyed a lovely week in Dinard. The apartment is better than the photos suggest. Lovely view from the balcony. Very convenient to access the beach straight from the beautifully maintained gardens. Less than 5 mins to an artisanal boulangerie and a direct 10 min walk into town but the promenade around the coast is definitely the route to take if time allows. Lots to do in Dinard and the environs. We were travelling with 2 young children and found it suited our needs perfectly - beach & park on the doorstep, washing machine and baby equipment if required. Would definitely recommend. Reasons for not giving 5 stars - cleaning was to an adequate but not immaculate standard, linen charge hefty ( remember square pillowcases if coming from uk), no response to the email I sent regarding arrival time or the phone calls made to the tel no I had been given as we arrived in Dinard causing slight consternation. However, the owners brother was waiting for us on arrival and he gave us a warm welcome and his mobile number in case of any problems during the stay. Overall very good though.

We had a most enjoyable holiday in France, Dinard is easy to reach with good connections and the apartment has private parking ( which is a huge bonus after a long trip ). The apartment itself is finished to a very high standard making it perfect for my family of 4. The pictures on the website do not do it justice, as the views are spectacular. The best part for my family was the close proximity of a really good beach. You can leave the apartment and walk down through the secure, walled gardens to a very good, child friendly beach, that has life guard protection at peak season and an open air swimming pool for the brave. This was all barely 50 metres from the apartment. The apartment is split over two levels, with two good sized bedrooms, shower room upstairs and living rooms downstairs. The apartment has everything you could need and the owners were very helpful throughout the booking process, on arrival and departure, providing a very friendly and welcoming feel to Dinard. Dinard itself can be accessed directly via the main road or by the coastal path. The main centre is about 1km away, but there are some local shops, including a boulanger much closer. Dinard is a pretty town with many good features for families and couples alike including good shopping, excellent markets, resturants and more. The main beach was busy and we tended to spend more time on the local beach especially as their was a good park and playground across the road. There is plenty to see in the area including Dinan and the fabulous walled city of St Malo, as well as Mont St Michel, which are all within easy reach with a car.
