Charmante maison en colombages avec piscine dans une propriété du XVIè siècle

We had a fantastic week staying at the gite. We were a party of 8 and we had plenty of room - having two separate houses also worked really well for us. The pool is lovely - a great size, clean, heated and in a lovely setting. The location is beautiful, in the grounds of the chateau, and we enjoyed eating at the large table outside under the tree. The hosts were very friendly and helpful - thank you! In terms of eating out, we had a really delicious meal at the restaurant Aux Trois Pastoureaux in Chateaudun which is about 20 mins drive away - would highly recommend. All in all we had an amazing week and would love to go back at some point.

Un cadre idyllique, des hôtes accueillants et aux petits soins, un logement très confortable et bien équipé, avec une météo radieuse, tout s'est conjugué pour un séjour enchanteur. Tout cela a un goût de reviens-y. Je précise que contrairement à l'annonce, le linge de toilette est fourni.

A l'occasion du réveillon du 31/12 nous nous sommes réunis à 5 couples + 4 enfants dans ce gîte. Idéal pour ce format, pas loin de Paris et il y a des choses à faire autour (balade, visite de Chateaudun, etc...). Pour ceux qui préfèrent bouquiner au coin du feu c'est aussi possible grâce aux 2 cheminés (1 dans chaque gîte). Qui dit réveillon dit cuisine et bon repas : la cuisine est très équipée !! Il y a vraiment tout ce qu'il faut et des plats et de la vaisselles en nombre ! il y a un Carrefour Contact à 10 min et un leclerc à Chateaudun (25min). L'arrivée et le départ ce sont super bien passés. Merci beaucoup pour ce super séjour ! ça donne envie de revenir aux beaux jours

Le gîte a été bien apprécié par tous pour une réunion familiale (9 adultes et 4 adolescents). Les entrées des deux gites sont indépendantes. Très bon accueil par le propriétaire.

The gite is split into 2 adjoining self-contained spaces, each with living room, kitchen, toilet downstairs and then bedrooms and shower/bath/toilet upstairs. Our 4 teenage boys stayed in the larger space (3 bedrooms upstairs and 1 downstairs) and we (2 adults) stayed in the smaller one. There was an unused bedroom that slept 3 in our section, and the other bedrooms were all either twin or king-sized beds, depending on how you had the beds. The living and kitchen areas were comfortable and well-equipped, plenty of crockery etc. Also a piano in the larger area, which we enjoyed. The outside space was amazing - a big outdoor table for al fresco dining, table tennis table and a large heated pool tucked away to the rear of the property. Everything was very tidy, clean and well-kept, and the beds were very comfortable. The location was incredible with a moat around the property in the grounds of the owner’s château - it was around a 20 minute walk to the nearest village, which was closed as it was August, and a 10 minute drive to a slightly larger village with a supermarket, bakery etc. We had a brilliant time, mostly spent by the pool with a few day trips kayaking and go-karting near Chatauedun (30 minutes drive). Our boys (13-18) really enjoyed it too. Would highly recommend for 2 smaller families or a larger family with teenage children.

This property is better in reality to the pictures on this website. It is very pretty, spacious and the pool is lovely and clean. The owners live in the large chateau and are very friendly hosts who are helpful in every way. We were a large party of people and there was still enough bathrooms and toilets, and kitchen facilities. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would not hesitate in recommending this beautiful place.
