Idyllic house below the Castle<br>#128578; Idyllic house below the magnificent Castle ramparts. Comfortable, quiet and cool. The bedrooms were perfect for a good nights sleep. Only a short walk up the pathway to the Castle. Very scenic views. Our hosts even left a welcoming bottle of wine. Merci beaucoup 🍷<br>#128577; We liked everything about the accommodation.

A unique, comfortable, well equipped...<br>#128578; We spent an amazing week in Carcassone and were so delighted to stay in Isabelle's house, so close to the medieval citadel. It was literally a minute or so walk from the medieval walls. The temperatures rose considerably whilst there so we were thankful for the coolness of the house (tiled floors, shutters on the windows and plenty of electric fans!). All bedding, towels and kitchenware were amply provided and offered lovely comfort and practicalities as needed. The concrete steps to the top floor (where we used the lovely lounge space) felt a bit tricky to negotiate initially but we soon got used to them.
