Domaine de Beauséjour - Double Room

Good: Lovely host, very good area with lots to do, views, nice pool area, very quiet, lots of sun beds, parasols, cushions etc, laundry available, plates/cutlery/bbq available, nice breakfast. Bad: smell of sewage, room wasn’t cleaned/made up on two of the days. Very old property, spiders and earwigs, clutter left around the apartment in drawers and under bed etc, old bedding, dirty old pillows, small threadbare towels, not enough coat hangers, no coffee or tea in room, no mini fridge, no toiletries, no shower head holder, shower curtain, no bathmat. Broken kettle. Mosquitos. Taxi into town (15mins) is €65 return! Not very luxurious at all. Very basic. This is not a commercial hotel, it needs to be modernised to bring it up to modern standards for BBs.

Lovely location and wonderful dog<br>#128578; Beautiful setting and property. Comfortable and quaint and quiet. Madame Cheveaux was welcoming and helpful and had excellent recommendations and coordinating a dinner reservation for us at a wonderful restaurant. Maya the dog was a wonderful host and friend. Lovely breakfast on the terrace with amazing views.
