Joli gite, bien placé pour effectuer les visites ´obligatoires’ dans cette belle région (zoo, chateaux, tout à moins d’une heure). Nous étions 5 adultes et 3 ados, nous avons passé une très bonne semaine. Gite tres propre tres bien agencé chambres adultes tres spacieuses et literie au top.

We loved this house. No complaints. Loved being next to the park. One suggestion, have directions for appliances in English along with area suggestions for non French speaking guests. Check in was difficult due to language barrier. Google translate helped at check out. We'd stay again.

Wir haben zwei wunderbare Wochen, mit unseren zwei Kindern in diesem Haus verbracht. Das Haus genossen, die Schlösser der Loire und den Zoo besucht. Dafür liegt das Haus einfach wunderbar. Monthou-sur-Cher ist ein süßer kleiner Ort mit einem kleinen Laden, in dem man alles bekommt. Ein Restaurant am Rand des Parks lädt ein, wenn man mal keine Lust zum Kochen hat. Im Nachbarort gibt es eine super leckere Boulangerie und auch sonst ist alles einfach erreichbar.
Everything about staying at this place for a week was amazing. Such a lovely location clean and very well decorated house and the owner was of a great help and did all she could when asked of something from us, from general info to booking us a table at the local restaurant. Would highly recommend to stay here a great base and very homely.

Maison de vigneron restaurée qui conserve tout son cachet. Décorée avec goût. La maison a gardé sa fraîcheur ( vieille pierre) malgré la canicule sur la région lors de notre passage. Emplacement très calme, idéalement situé pour rayonner. L’équipement est complet, possibilité de faire tourner machine linge, lave vaisselle, repassage et même barbecue. Une maison où il fait bon vivre, de beaux volumes, de belles chambres, 2 sdb,idéale pour 8 personnes. Une adresse à retenir sans hésiter. Bravo.
