Maison, le parc, 16 pers, piscine, Val Loire, Zoo

We've just returned from fabulous week here. There were 16 of us, it's a lovely secluded spot.Private pool was the making of the holiday, clean and plenty of high quality sun loungers.The house is clean, very spacious with a bit of quirkiness but its full of character.Stephanie was super helpful and easy to communicate with.

Kitchen facilities were great. WiFi was good. Brand new pool was lovely. A bit more shade would have been nice. Very quiet secluded area.

Beautiful area with great facilities and plenty of space. Stephanie our host was excellent with helpful suggestions. She and her husband David made us most welcome and sorted any issues we had promptly. Worth another visit

Our group of friends loved the property and the grounds. The pool and tennis court are great, and we loved our morning jogs through the surrounding forests. A great place if you like a remote break with friends

The house is just like in the photos, although they don’t really do it justice. We all had a fabulous time, there was enough of everything - from generous size mugs to plates and outdoor chairs. The house was lovely and cool inside, even though it was fairly hot outside. The pool was brilliant, with half of it at a great depth for the 4 year olds, and the deep end was still good for adults jumping in. The space around the house made it feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, but the villages are still nearby. There were clear skies for stargazing, and our visit coincides with the peak of a meteor shower. Stephanie and David were lovely hosts, they were there to help you when you needed but not giving around getting in your family holiday. Overall, excellent.

Terrific property to celebrate any occasion with a large group. There were 10 of us and everyone enjoyed the peaceful location and hikes in the woods. Ideal location to visit the Loire Château sites and the many tasting rooms at local vineyards. Highly recommended for in house meals and garherings around the fireplace in the evenings.

Maison du Cerf is an excellent property with very friendly hosts and met all the differing needs of our family with ages ranging from 18 to 80. The two houses had ample bedrooms for our party of 11 and all the main rooms were nicely furnished with lots of character, and mercifully nice and cool. My only suggestion is that it would benefit from more shade both around the terrace of the main house and around the pool with either some nice trees or large umbrellas, and more comfortable loungers at the pool. Overall it was an excellent place for our family gathering and full use was made of the very good long and deep pool, the tennis court and the table tennis table. We would certainly recommend this place to our friends.

We had a wonderful time and Stephanie and David could not have been better hosts. Loved the furnishings in the house, the pool and the views of the fields and sunflowers from the back porch. Stephanie took us on a hike around the property. David made arrangements for some to go horse riding on property. Drove by castle within walking distance of house everyday as we toured chateaus, villages and went wine tasting. Highly recommended.
