😊: Very good location near to the cathedral St Pierre and the Chateau..

😊: A lovely and clean apartment in the centre of Caen. Very helpful and informative hosts. I felt comfortable and safe the whole time I was there. I would absolutely stay again!. 😢: There was nothing to complain about..

😊: The location was great and the host was very quick to respond to queries and issues. The light in the apartment was great with opening windows. The location was great for us ( although the bus stop meant people hanging around at the door front) . Fridge (with issue ), microwave, perc coffee pot with coffee and filters, good amount of crockery, cutlery, saucepans. A two hob cooker plate. Easy key collection. With these improvements I’d stay here again. Without the contract that you have to sign ( which I only saw on the day of my arrival when I went to check the check in details). So keep a look out for that extra. Loved that I could get transport right outside.. 😢: Host clearly wants guests to have a nice stay although the ‘fear of being accused of breaking something made the entire stay nerve wracking. The apartment is good functional but tired. Cleaners need to dust ( skirting boards and under beds, sofa) and be more diligent in kitchen, although the bathroom was spotless. There was a reasonable amount of mould in the shower cubicle. Which I didn’t report as a few other things were an issue and I was tired and didn’t want issues for the rest of my stay. And no inventory , although there was a written email contract/notice to leave everything as per … kitchen cupboard was well equipped, eclectic collection of cutlery .. with a little tlc, new mattress and sofa bed in living room ( we didn’t use it to sleep but it wasn’t comfy to sit on). Given the heavy contract at booking,to pay for damages, I was expecting an immaculate apartment . More supplies required for 1 weeks stay although I’m sure if we asked it would have been arranged ( toilet rolls, kitchen towel, soap). It’s ok for 2 people- would be uncomfortable for 4 adults. The bed mattress is ok for smaller /lighter bodies. The toilet is situated right beside the bed head! The notice to flush needs to read ‘hold for at least 6 seconds). We could hear noise from the other apartments ( voices, shower, flush, walking). No Freezer compartment door so the salad and fruit/ food in the fridge iced up overnight on one day. Thermostat needs to be low. But no notice , so had to throw our food that day. The additional bedding in wardrobe was not with covers so couldn’t use the extra pillow. The little square ones on the bed were adequate..

😊: very close to all the places I needed to get to,quiet and secure.Liked the access to the bus stop too..
