Exceptional<br>#128578; Mark is a charming and fascinating host and this gorgeous apartment is as welcoming as he is. The apartment has that ‘wow factor’ - vaulted ceilings, a sense of space, serenity and history. It’s really well equipped too and despite the beauty just outside the front door it’s very tempting to stay put! The location couldn’t be bettered: right in the heart of Pezenas, yet despite the proximity to the lively restaurants and bars the apartment was blissfully calm and quiet. Perfect location and exceptional stay...<br>#128578; Everything. It was perfect in every way!<br>#128577; Some outdoor space would have been nice but you just have to step out the front door into the old town square.

We stayed La Porte Rouge for three nights in early December 2018. After three weeks of travel, it sure was nice to run into Mark as he was the ideal owner of this rental apartment. First, he greeted us at a nearby location and walked us to the La Porte Rouge. He gave us a brief tour of the old-town and had all kinds of wonderful tid-bits to share about Pézenas and France in general. Upon entering the apartment, we were blown away by the amenities and all the personal touches. The place just oozed charm. The accommodations were simply wonderful from the bathroom and kitchen, to the main room and bedroom. This was the perfect place to visit the lovely little town of Pézenas and to rest our weary heads. Thank you Mark, we hope to visit your place again the next time we’re in the area!
