Maison de caractère au pied de la cité

We had a lovely week in Carcassonne. Emmanuelle is an excellent host and picked us up from the airport! The property is well appointed and a superb base from which to explore both the old and new town. As it is on an island it was very quiet and peaceful. An easy walk to the station for trips to Narbonne and Limoux. Would definitely recommend and hope to return.

A lot of difficulties locating the host once we arrived. Otherwise an excellent property. Kitchen had everything necessary for eating in. Bed was comfortable. Lots of suggestions from host about activities in the area. Even though it was October the host opened the pool for us.

Great location, set between old and new town with a short walk to both. Clean, bright and spacious accommodation. Host friendly, offered great recommendations for places to eat and makes the most delicious fig jam. A lovely touch finding breakfast essentials for our first morning! Thank you very much for a wonderful stay. Would most definitely return.

Our stay at this property exceeded my expectations; spotlessly clean, private, nothing was misleading in the description of the property, there was everything you would need for a 2 week stay and the hosts were courteous, thoughtful, friendly and helpful. Communucation with the host was always clear and prompt. It was a pleasure to stay here.

The gite is in a perfect location, within easy walking distance of the medieval city and the new city. Plenty of restaurants nearby but beautifully quiet if you want to just escape. There is everything you need in the accommodation and our hosts were so helpful.

This was the perfect beautiful and quiet apartment centrally located to the old city. The old city was surprisingly fun to walk around and beautifully restored along with wonderful food especially cassoulet, So we were very happy to have this location and highly recommend it to explore this gorgeous area. Also the hosts were perfect And everything we needed was there.

A fabulous property in a perfect location for exploring Carcassonne. This house is within walking distance of the old and new cities. Spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you will need. Perfect for exploring Canal Midi on bikes. Owners are extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Avec nos 2 loulous de 3 et 6 ans nous avons séjourné 1 semaine et grâce à l'emplacement de l'hébergement (au pied des remparts), nous avons pu visiter à pied Carcassonne. Nous avons bien profité de la région également. Le gîte est fonctionnel, très confortable et reposant. Merci à Emmanuelle pour son hospitalité. Nous recommandons chaudement cet endroit !
