Maison de charme avec piano en bord de rivière / Charming house on the river

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt im Ferienhaus "L'Isle sur Andelle". Sowohl das Haus als auch das Grundstück übertrafen unsere Erwartungen und hinterließen ein angenehmes, immer noch nachhallendes schönes Urlaubsgefühl! Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und würden das Ferienhaus jederzeit wieder buchen! Die Lage ist ruhig und doch relativ zentral. Innerhalb von 15-20 Minuten Fahrt findet man alles Notwendige für eine perfekte Versorgung vor Ort, es muss also Niemand auf das morgendliche Croissant und/oder Pain au chocolat verzichten! Fußläufig findet sich hingegen nichts dergleichen im Örtchen! Wer mal kurz ins Meer springen will, hat eine Anfahrt von ca. 60-70 Minuten bis hoch zur Küste. Im Haus selber findet man Entspannung und Gemütlichkeit, L'Isle sur Andelle steckt voller Flair, Leben, Spannung und Charakter und im Garten am Flusslauf findet sich, untermalt von Naturgeräuschen, eine bezaubernde Möglichkeit der Erholung und auch der Abkühlung! Auch der Buchungsablauf, der Austausch und der Schriftverkehr mit Madame Tolstoï war sehr angenehm und sympathisch. Die zur Verfügung gestellten Informationen über die Region waren informativ und sehr nützlich! Gerade die Liste der regionalen Märkte war sehr hilfreich, sodass wir an fast jedem Wochentag die Möglichkeit hatten, uns mit den besten und frischesten regionalen Lebensmitteln zu versorgen und somit kaum einen Supermarkt frequentieren mussten. In der Küche findet sich alles Notwendige und noch viel mehr, um das gute Essen dann auch noch perfekt auf den Tisch zu bringen. Das waren 2 Wochen pure Alltagsflucht und eine perfekte Auszeit vom Leben in Deutschland! Merci beaucoup!!!

Ein individuelles, sehr persönliches Haus. Wer die Ruhe sucht, findet sie dort in wundervoller Lage. Mit Mme Tolstoï, der Vermieterin, ergab sich leider kein direkter Kontakt, jedoch war Mme Arlette eine freundliche Ansprechpartnerin. Wir haben dort eine sehr erholsame Woche mit interessanten Ausflügen das Umland verbracht und würden das auch gerne wiederholen.

On a beaucoup apprécié le calme et le (très) grand jardin avec la rivière et la vue sur la verdure.

Thank you so much for an amazing holiday at this magical house! We felt the happy energy vibes and also many memories this place holds. Everything was clean - the beds were fabulous (just mentioning this because you will never find a holiday apartment with more comfy beds). In the house there was everything you need and more: table tennis, many games to have a fun night on the terrace. Our dog was not the only to not want to leave the house. For all dog-owners: We travel a lot, but have never found any better place for a dog than this. The water, the peaceful surroundings, the friendly neighbours. All was perfect! Valérie was always friendly, helpful and the overall contact was easy. She explained everything well and even gave us tips for must-sees in the area. We went on many little daytrips: Rouen (Jeanne D‘Arc was executed there), Dieppe (great seaside city),Etretat (also seaside), Lyon-la-forêt (Madame Bovary was filmed here, lovely little place), Le Havre (futuristic city), Honfleur (absolutely beautiful little town, our highlight). We also recommend the Bison parc (Rêve de Bisons). Our little daughter fell in love with the Bisons. You can really spend all day there. Another highlight was the Monet garden at Giverny. As an art historian I was overwhelmed with the flowers and Monets house. It is like goong back in time. All within 30-60 minutes distance. With a car it was absolutely no problem, as you mostly drive quiet areas and countryside streets. This way we got to see a lot of typical Normandie nature as well. You will surely enjoy your time at Morville-sur-Andelle.

The island is stunning and magic. The house is very spacious and well equipped including art and literature. Maybe even too many things so you can’t store all of your thing.

l'Ile sur Andelle est comme son nom l'indique une maison entourée par les lacets de l'Andelle (petite rivière). On s'y sent accueilli comme si on y avait toujours séjourné. simplicité et chaleur. le bruit de l'eau, le chant des oiseaux rendent le lieu est propice à la détente, à la contemplation. les alentours sont aussi riches de lieux culturels. Excellent séjour.

Une semaine de musique, de convivialité et de promenades, très réussie !
