Val Malouin

😊: Sweet little studio apartment, nicely thought out decor, good facilities and well stocked kitchen equipment, we could actually cook a meal. Nice location near to shops and market, and only a 20 min stroll to the old St Malo and castle etc.. near to 2 beaches. The weather was very hot and the owners very kindly got in touch and came round with a fan.. 😢: The sofa bed is right next to the bed which made it difficult to get to the bathroom. I actually turned it around when we were there to make it easier to move around.

😊: The property was perfect for our one night stay. Well equipped and very clean. We liked the decor. The weather was very hot so the fan was really appreciated.. 😢: There wasn't anything not to like.

😊: Everything was clean, new, well-maintained. The area was pleasantly quiet yet rather close to main attractions.. 😢: We don't have such hotplates in Canada and it sucks to not be able to operate one for lack of instructions. The host could not help. So part of the reason why we chose this place just evaporated. Another nitpick is electric outlets or rather lack thereof and the placement of the existing ones..
