Villa with Private Pool, Air Conditioning, WiFi & Parking (Villeneuve-Loubet)

The horse was excellent and suited us really well.

The villa is spacious and very comfortable for 8 people. Best features are the terrace with the barbecue (perfect if you love real wood barbecue!) and the swimming pool surrounded by green. The area is very quiet and beautiful. Car is necessary. The house is basically equipped -could use more lamps and some utensils- but sufficiently, kitchen has a good and large fridge and basic appliances. There's a few things that could be improved to make it a perfect place: hygiene is superficial, but the whole house needs a deep and thorough cleaning; ground-floor bathroom doesn't have a shower (could be easily fixed with a hook to hang the handshower); you get only one set of keys, needed to enter the main gate (a hassle if you're with two cars); if you request towels and bed sheets, you get only 1 towel per person (instead of a set), and there's a fee charged for animals (Eu30), but on arrival you're asked to pay Eu20 more for cleaning (not in the ad); ad says 5 rooms with airco but there's 4 (the bedrooms), one of which didn't work (someone came to repair it during our stay, but still didn't work). Overall, a good place, if you're not too fuzzy with details.

The house was so dirty when we arrived and the owner took extra money in cash for the cleaning as well which is not mentioned in the ad. We found broken glas on the bottom of the pool and in the bathroom, there where empty winebotteles left around the house and the floor had a big layer of black dust all over the house. We spent our first day to clean the house before we could left the kid play around. The owner was rude about it when we contacted him. Poolguy never showed up once.

Especially the private pool-area made our Holiday fantastic. But also the large terasse with grill was lovely. The house had lots of space and lacked nothing. The host was also very nice and helpfull - we recommend this house very much !
