😊: Located close to station and port basin. 😢: Difficulty finding it as no name or number evident on gate . Difficult for me at 75 and non tec and non French speaker to understand entry and exit instructions. And also a heavy plastic sheet on bed mattress made sleep impossible until removed ☹️.

😊: The apartment is located in a building close to the railway station and main means of public transportation are within a few minutes walk. Also very close to downtown/ touristic part of the city. I had to go daily to GANIL and thus found the proximity to tram very useful. The apartment was very clean, reasonably well furnished and quiet. All in all, I think the value for money was high.. 😢: There is some strange fauna in the evening in the region, which is maybe to be expected due to proximity of the railway station. I nevertheless had no problems and never felt unsafe at all. The host requires a deposit upon arrival, which in my (limited) experience on booking.com is not common (card is not billed, the amount is just blocked). This is nevertheless stated clearly in the terms agreed upon during booking, so no problem there. Maybe it is just some reluctance on the part of host, since he seems to be new in this business..
