Chalets Dominique

Nous avons séjourné dans ce chalet pendant deux semaines. Le chalet est idéalement situé. Deux télésièges, Tufs et Bolin, se trouvent à proximité, ce qui facilite grandement l'accès aux pistes. La vue a été un véritable atout : depuis la fenêtre de la chambre, nous pouvions apercevoir une piste, et celle du salon donnait sur une autre. Quel plaisir de se réveiller chaque matin avec ce panorama ! Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. Un sauna commun est également à disposition, un plus appréciable après une longue journée de ski. Le local à skis est accessible par une porte arrière, ce qui est très pratique pour ranger et sortir son matériel. Un seul point à signaler concernant la sécurité : une partie de la zone devant la porte d'entrée était extrêmement glissante. Presque tous les membres de notre famille ont glissé au moins une fois pendant notre séjour. C'est donc un point à améliorer. Dans l'ensemble, le chalet et son emplacement sont excellents, notamment pour son accès facile aux pistes et la vue imprenable.

Emplacement idéal pour un accès direct aux pistes à Tignes, j'ai envie d'y retourner !!

Endroit formidable, confortable et propre

More than adequate for my needs. This is a no frills chalet, basic amenities but couldnt fault our stay. beds comfortable enough albeit a tad warm in the rood, shower was excellent. downside to the room no tv ( didnt really affect my stay!). izzy and sean looked after us v well i enjoyed every meal i had never went hungry always plenty of wine to. the chalet is situated close to 4 lifts at least giving you access to a huge area to ski, lots for every level of skiers and boarders. 2 ski rental shops within yards of the chalet. town is a short walk away with a good choice of places to eat on chefs night off

Emplacement idéal, skis aux pieds, avec de nombreuses remontées mécaniques et un excellent réseau de bus. L'acoustique est très bonne malgré le bruit en contrebas. La sécurité pose problème : plusieurs portes de chambres ne sont pas verrouillées et la porte arrière ainsi que celle du local à chaussures restent ouvertes plusieurs fois par jour. Propriétaire, soyez vigilant et retirez les dispositifs d'ouverture de porte.

Le personnel était charmant, la chambre très simple. Il semblait qu'ils partageaient une table gigogne entre trois chambres.

This is a truthful but damning review. First off I want to point out that this is not due to the reps or chalet hosts, Jesse, Todd and Brigette who were great. This is a problem with Skiworld who run this chalet and are marketing the experience as something better than it actually offers.||‘Stayed at this venue with a group of friends and was hugely disappointed. No TV in the entire establishment. No hairdryers. No complimentary toiletries. WiFi was so slow it wasn’t worth bothering trying to get online. One of the things that attracted us to this chalet was that it boasted jacuzzi, steam room and sauna, however, on arrival we were told that the jacuzzi was broken and awaiting a part. Three days later my friend and I discovered that it was working but the chalet hosts said that they were not aware! The “spa” facilities are shared between three chalets and were very small to accommodate this number of people. Personally, I’m not used to staying in an establishment with these facilities and not having a robe or slippers/ flip flops provided. We didn’t care for getting from our rooms to the spa along the draughty ski locker corridor in bare feet wrapped in a towel.||Also small was our room and our shower. I am only size 10 and couldn’t wash my hair without bashing my elbows on the shower cubicle doors. And the water temperature was either scalding or freezing. The smell from the tiny galley kitchen in which our hosts had to prepare food for 16 permeated our room which made me feel really nauseous and had to sleep with the window open.||Noise transfers easily between rooms and floors and after two nights of trying to sleep through a rave in one of the other chalets we had to call our Jesse to put a stop to the racket (Thank you Jesse!)||The stairs to the ski locker are a health and safety disaster! Put the light on and three steps down it goes out leaving you to feel your way down a steep spiral staircase in ski boots in the pitch dark.||Our beds were quite comfy but didn’t appreciate the rubber mattress liner which reminded me of hospital beds making you sweaty and sticky.||We were lucky to get a room with a balcony overlooking the nursery slope, however, the balcony wasn’t fit for anything other than cold storage. It was too narrow for a table and chairs.||Food wise, the menus were quite random and after two nights of not caring for the food on offer we started eating out either on the mountain during the day or in the evenings. Recommend that if Skiworld want to continue to offer this dinner, bed and breakfast offering, they should develop a weekly meal plan for hosts to work to. Moreover they should simply sell the rooms on a bed and breakfast basis at much lower rates. Regarding breakfast, we couldn’t get a boiled egg! That says it all.

Grâce à Abi et Emma, ​​notre séjour au chalet CD a été excellent. Ce sont des hôtes très compétentes et charmantes qui ont pris soin de notre groupe de 16 personnes avec un professionnalisme exemplaire, veillant à ce que nous ne manquions de rien tout au long de notre séjour. Le chalet offre tout le confort nécessaire pour un séjour réussi ; nous le recommandons donc vivement.
