Duplex avec terrasse, au cœur d'Aix-en-Provence

😊: amazing location. 😢: needed a deep clean! they expect to leave the plave clean but provide no cleaning equipment.

😊: Great location. We've been to Aix three times and this time this was the best location. Its not the most glamorous part of town but it is quite, close to everything (including a parking garage - a must when carrying heavy luggage). Big terrace. Apartment is also big enough for two weeks or more. Surprisingly fast Wi-Fi.. 😢: The apartment itself is early ABNB chic with design features like a massive tub (that no one has ever likely used) and an iron staircase (that looks great but is like stepping Lego if one has to go downstairs barefoot in the middle of the night to use the bathroom). Plus, the rafters are head level and hurt like hell the first 9 times until one remembers to always duck. The terrace, while big, could use a plant or two to make it less hot. As is, it is only usable in the late afternoon. The bedroom area, as heat rises, is always a sauna. That it does have an openable window makes it practically unbearable even when the living area is a nice, chilly 17 C. The hall in the building is also pretty dark and dank, but its only three flights up, so tolerable..

😊: Very convenient location on a quiet side street with a roof terrace that has the sun from 7am until 7pm. The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures. It has everything you would possibly need to cook, however in Aix, you want to go out and eat with the vast choice of restaurants catering to all tastes. Great communication, very quick responses. We would definitely return.. 😢: Beware of the beams and ceiling if you're tall but after the first three bumps on the head you become very aware of them!!!! It wasn't a problem or an issue..
