Joli studio centre-ville Caen

😊: This is a great place if you, like me don't want a glamorous, shiny place. If you want that, go to a business hotel. This is a little room in an old house, that was very cleverly converted into a little dwelling unit. A big bed, a table, a kitchen corner and a tiny bathroom with shower. Just perfect for me, who came to Caen to do a summer course at the university. I chose the location on purpose, in the middle of the pedestrian district, full of pubs, shops, bakeries, créperies etc. And yes, because of that it can be noisy in the evening, but you can close the window to keep the noise out. It was not enough on the Festival of Music, on 21 June, but then I was not in the room, but out in the street, enjoying the festival... Ideal location, 25 minutes walk from the railway station and 20 minutes from the university campus. Didn't use public transport for a minute. Great, 1000-year-old romanesque and gothic buildings in a few hundred metres. Really, couldn't be better. Planning to return to Caen next year, and I hope to book the same place again.
