La Tour Napoléonienne et son Jacuzzi

😊: Cozy hideaway in the middle of Caen - would definitely recommend! Right across from the castle and a very short walk away from the old part of town, it's perfectly located. You can tell by the attention to detail that the owner put a lot of thought and work into renovating it. The terrace and the living room with the big sliding doors give it an outdoorsy vibe, and it felt like having a little oasis in the middle of the city. François is a very nice and attentive host and reacted within minutes if I had a question. When the foam in the Jacuzzi tried to swallow me, he did his best to tame it, but it had a life of its own :). Pro tip: There is a lot of available parking space close to the apartment, but the closest ones are only affordable for 2,5 hours (after that the rate goes up steeply, to 33 Euro for the day if I remember correctly). Driving just 2 minutes further secured me a spot where parking for 5 hours was just 6.5 Euro..
