The apartment was fine but unless I overlooked it, nowhere did it state that this was a 5th floor walk up! The check in was all done remotely and you recieved them the day before and only then did you find out that the apartment was on the top floor. The apartment was fine but I was recovering from significant knee injury and there is no way I would have rented this place if I knew it was a 5th floor walk up despite the apatrnent being a very nice one. In the listing it should state if this place might not accomodate some one with a mobility issue.

😊: The appartment was very clean, cosy and well equipped. Situated at Gare de Caen, we had easy access to the bus, tram and train station. We reached Caen from Paris Charles de Gaulle by blablacar and we reached the residence only after 5 minutes walk from the bus terminal. We booked a vehicle for rent, and the car rental agencies are found at ground level of the building. Easy access to parking slots on the road also. In the surroundings, there are services like hairdresser, shops, superettes, supermarets like Carrefour Express, Cocci market, fastfood & restaurants. 10 mins walk to reach Les Rives de L'Orne mall where you can find shops like, Sephora, Kiko, Action, Columbus Cafe, H&M, Histoire D'Or, Leclerc, New Yorker, Cine PATHE, etc.. It's really value for money and highly recommended.. 😢: It is not recommended to travel with heavy luggages as you will have 4 storeys to step up. A lift would be highly appreciated..

The place was good. Clean, close to the train station and comfortable. BEWARE: The only way to access the unit is to call a phone number to unlock the gate. For international travellers this may be an issue. We purchase eSIMs when we travel, so no access to phone, we had to get creative to gain access each time we wanted in. The communication was for some reason to my email account even though we repeatedly tried to move communication to the VRBO app. I don’t use my email on vacation, that’s why I have the app. For some reason we were sent to a 3rd party website (4th party really, because I thought VRBO was the 3rd party?) to submit our credit card information? The most absurd part of staying here was asking if there was another roll of toilet paper and being told that they don’t provide toilet paper for our entire stay, only enough to get us started. Can you imagine a hotel telling you to go out and buy more toilet paper if you need it? As a positive, the smoke detector battery needed replacing and was replaced by the next day and window coverings replaced when requested

Exceptional<br>#128578; Great location for shops, bars, food and exploring. Right next to the train station and also has regular buses and trams on the door step. No noise from this in the appartment at all. We had a few bad weather days so was great to have so much space. Easy to find. Host quick to respond.

Exceptionnel<br>#128578; Nous recommandons vivement pour ceux qui souhaitent visiter Caen et alentours 👍 la location est bien située en face de la gare même si nous y étions en voiture. L'appartement est très propre et bien équipé, les instructions pour l'arrivée sont claires. On reviendra sûrement ! 🙂

Une bulle de sérénité grâce à cet appartement!<br>#128577; L'arrivée à été particulièrement difficile car pas eu le lien pour le dépôt de garantie et donc pas les indications pour accéder au logement....gros coup de stress et un lien plus humain aurait été appréciable à ce moment là( je ne parle pas de l'hôte qui est adorable mais de l'agence intermédiaire )

L'appartement est situé à proximité de la gare et c'est ce que je recherchais. Une fois dans l'appartement, tout était propre, soigné et le confort est au rendez-vous. Je recommande cet appartement.
