😊: location excellent. 😢: shower drain clogged, and the hosts were not willing to fix it.

😊: Car parking good . All the facilities were good in apartment . ie - bathroom bedrooms and kitchen are all really nice.. 😢: Stairs lighting was really poor . Noise from flat above. Access to parking area was really small between garage and main building , a bigger vehicle and you might struggle getting in ..

😊: The flat was very clean and well equipped. They provided everything we needed such as washing up liquid, tea towels, corkscrew etc. The location was close enough to the centre to walk in easily but was quiet and within easy reach of a Lidl.. 😢: The seating area is a bit small but was fine for a few days where we were not in very much..

😊: Great location with parking. Lovely shower and bath. Comfy bed. Perfect little apartment.. 😢: There was nothing we didn’t like about the apartment. The only small negative is that the area has a lot of bars around and as a result was noisy throughout the night..

😊: It was spacious, nicely decorated and well equipped in terms of appliances (oven, hob, dishwasher). 😢: It's advertised as having free parking - which is why I chose it - but roadworks on the street made the parking inaccessible. While the works are not the owners fault, they should have updated the listing to reflect this. Instead, it was mismarketed and missold. There are other properties that are nicer, cheaper or better located but I chose this for the parking - had I known this wasn't actually available, I would have stayed elsewhere. When I contacted the owners to enquire about alternative parking nearby, they were rude, dismissive and patronising, and couldn't have been less helpful. After driving round for an hour, because all nearby street parking was full, I ended up having to park really far away and walk back in the dark, late at night, in what doesn't feel like the safest neighbourhood. As a solo female traveller it felt quite unsafe. On top of that, it meant that I'd wasted so much time, it was too late to go out for dinner as everywhere nearby had stopped serving. Additionally, when I finally did get to the apartment, I found the light in the entrance hall doesn't work, so had to carry my stuff upstairs in the dark, and no soap was provided, so you can't properly wash your hands after going to the toilet - which is disgusting and raises wider questions about the owners' hygiene standards.
